What if a person got an apartment went into a bedroom waterproofed the carpet with tarp. Stirred up a foxfarm soil mix with guanos and wormcastings in 5 pots 5 gallon size. Hung up a 600 w MH from the middle of ceiling and ran that 20/4. Monitored ph and ppm. Did this for 3 weeks then took down the MH and hung up a 600 W HPS to flower for 8 weeks on 12/12.
The room would be polyshielded and lightproofed and exhausted through the duct system (heating cooling duct) Through a filter and intake fresh air through the window. A fan always blowing on the canopies and co2 bucket set up during flower( or veg?)
Maybe more plants if its a big bedroom.
How much would those 5 plants yield. is 1.5 ounces each way off? how much would ten times the plants yield with proper lighting.? Lemme know my curiosity is killing me!:rasta:

Anyone will tell you that yield is highly variable, regardless of your setup. First thing to do is choose a high-yielding strain. Your hypothetical setup seems optimal, but you'll also need to keep up a proper fertilization schedule, especially during flowing in order to get high yields. Seems like you're going organic, so for flowing you might want to try Budswel fertilizer.

3 weeks veg is very short.
You don't need to monitor ppms with dirt.
CO2 is something only a really experienced grower can see a difference in yield using.
Under perfect conditions you can get 0.5g/flowering room watt/month
So shoot for 600g/crop. That's over a pound.
BUT. and it's a big but.... That's if you have everything tweaked in perfectly, including vegging for a longer time.

I need more opinions And some more questions how much would the person get if they upgraded to 50 plants? And if they were to keep a couple mothers from the first seed grow in the rooms closet underflourescents how many cuttings could possibly be taken from them each time?
Is it possible for a room to be divided in two lightproof rooms and one half used for veg and one for flower?
Thanks for the help !

Umm if you live in the US you should reconsider this hypothetical scenario. Think small, real small, if you want to play it safe.

But do what you want to do. I'd say that your first scenario is more realistic. 50 plants is quite a lot.
