New Anti-Weed Commercial

has anyone seen the newest anti-weed commercial. its starts out really weirdly.
"so yesterday we smoked some pot. we didn't die. we didn't do heroin the next day. we sat on pete's couch for 11 hours. you have a better chance of hurting yourself skating, or playing basketball. i think i'll take my chances."

lmao, you see the other new one? It has 4 black dudes in a car, the driver is sayin shit like "All my friends do is smoke weed, they don't do anything. I make all the plans, I get the partys and they follow along. Well, i'm going to collage and I wont have them on my back." That's not what he says word for word but it's along those lines.
They need to give up.. All the young kids hate weed, just as I did. Once you get older you arn't ignorant and realise that it isn't bad and smoke it. Or you're into religion and don't even think about smoking it, it's a "sin".
My point is that - these commercials don't do anything.

Then it shows one of those above the influence signs. WTF?

i have an idea. how about we have a real truthful commercial about marijuana? Like the DEA raiding sick people and ruining lifes using nazi-like tactics. Why are there no anti-alcohol commercials, showing brutal violence from intoxicated people? Alcohol makes you violent,a nd the worse thing the idiots in the anti-drug campaign can come up with is "marijuana will make you sit on a couch for 11 hours" or "marijuana will make you irresponsible".

alot of the things rlly are stupid and over exagerate everything... i have seen ads where they littlerally say "ur stupid if u smoke".... plus they require u to use to logic or common sence.... ie i smoked so today i tried to out run a rabid dog

we dont need the media telling us what is right and wrong. what we need are parents to show us good from bad and to give us the truth.
i'll admit that int he wrong hands (especially inexperienced middle schoolers looking for trouble) weed can go bad. but so can things like fire, water, and clothing, and spoons. you can burn yourself, drown, suffocate, or choke. but we dont make fire, water, clothing and spoons illegal and force exaggerated fear mongering commercials.

Wait, what? Kids who smoke pot don't make it to college? Whoever wrote that has obviously not visited any college dormitories anytime in the past 40 years.

As I said in another thread, we should really be encouraged by these kinds of commercials. They only show that the establishment views the cannabis community as a real threat to the status quo, and their lies are becoming so ridiculous that anybody with the common sense of a nine-year-old can see through them. No longer does cannabis give you cancer or flatten your brain waves, it just turns you into a blob-like creature or makes you a mindless conformist. The truth is entering the public psyche, slowly but surely. It is only a matter of time before the lies and the public policies based on them are thoroughly demolished.
