Hey guys I've been gone for a week and have'nt been able to log on to Cannibis. It kinda sucked.

Anyways I logged on to steam when I got home and there is some great news for Counter_Strike Source Players, and I know there are some cs players here.



Qoute from Steam Update news

"Soon, we'll be releasing the first in a series of updates to Counter-Strike: Source which will be focused on moving the core Counter-Strike gameplay forward.

The first update will include an updated version of the map Train, which will feature an HDR lighting pass, some minor layout changes, and a number of small bugfixes.

The second facet of this release will be a completely reworked radar system. There will be a significant change to the aesthetics of the radar, but there are also some fairly significant gameplay ramifications to the new system. One example: when you look directly at an enemy for a long enough time for their name to appear on your screen, everyone on your team will be able to see that enemy in the radar. We're planning on releasing this first update in about two weeks."

I think this should be in the lounge instead of recreational threads, but I enjoy a good game of counter strike now and again myself.

i play as chow yun fat.
my avatar is actually my spray in the game.
and of course.. i use duels.
but even with the name and spray, no one still knows or cares who the fuck chow yun fat is and why i use duels.

dualies and that sg550 or whatever Terrorist weapon are the BEST combo.


Iceworld Deathmatch is the most addicting thing ive ever played, non-stop action!

CSS is so good stoned or pissed. Anyway im happy to hear that some major updating is coming. I play that game all the time. I like to think of myself as pr0 too:p

Yeah, I totally agree. 1.6 is easier because hitboxes are fixed but I still enjoy the improvement they made with CSS such as physics and graphics, but I totally agree with you.

i enjoy them both mostly because my new computer runs css like a dream, and it's a lot less enjoyable if you get like 25-40 frames

I like forcing my self to play soem 1.6 for a week or two then coming back to CS:S and just looking at all the pretty stuff.
