trichome question

i am coming up on my last couple weeks of flower and i was wondering...

will the trichomes start to change suddenly or will it it happen over a period of a few weeks? how many days, on average, does it take for the triches to go from clear to cloudy to amber??

Hey,

You'll have a "window" of maybe 2 weeks in which to harvest...maybe less. Main thing is to not harvest too early. When trichs are clear, there's minimal THC content so the results would be disappointing.

Yeah you'll know its not a really fast process its takes days so just be on top of them and check them everyday with a scope. As soon as you notice some cloudy triches just start being on top of them with the scope, and the rest is up to you as far as what you want from the high

well... im on day 56 of 12/12... and the trichs are mostly cloudy with a few areas of amber here and there... but they buds dont look fully developed yet...=(.

there's still young green growing at the top of the main cola and the tips of each aux bud...if i cut any time soon i think i will have shitty buds but i dont want to decrease potency...
bah i dont know...
