DID I DO THE RIGHT THING

some advice please, i have just pinched the top leaves out of one of my plants in order to stop it growing so tall, this wont hurt the plant will it? we r first time growers, and would appreciate any thoughts on the matter.the plant is 40 days old and about 17 inches tall.

as long as you topped the plant correctly it shouldn't hurt the plant any. You may notice that it will slow down for a few days, but then it should shoot out two more growing tips instead of just one that it had before. (unless you did the FIM technique where then it may have as many as 8 new growing tips)
