!i want to grow!

hey guys.
i am smoking for 3 years never grow before.
i am reading the forums to learn from u pro guys.the idea of smoking ur own bud making me crazy and i just decided to grow.i dont have a indoor place to grow and it is not very important for me to grow a badass plant.
1.do i have to wait till the next outdoor season?
2.if i start a outdoor grow in 2 days.plant can survive ?actually can it be smoked?
help.
i need all kind of information.
