Found a space...

Well, I found a space for growing in my basement. I never thought of it before but theres a small cabinet where no one goes and it's big enough to fit a plant that will probably grow atleast 2 feet. So I'm wondering, what strain should I go with and how should I build light fixtures or w/e because there are no sockets in the cabinet.

go to homedepot mate... go to the electrical aisle and pick out your stuff.

theres MANY different ways to set up lights... just pick whichever works for you.

I used a small block of wood and used fishing line and duct tape to attach the lights to the wood... then i hung the whole thing from the top.

Meh, dunno how I'm gonna buy it though. My parents are VERY nosy and they want to know what everythings for -_-. My dad's definately not gonna go for any lies I'm gonna make up.

No one. I repeat. No one goes in that cabinet. I didnt think about it at all. It's sealed off basically from the rest of the house and no one goes in that little corner :p. It's the perfect spot. And for one grow it shouldnt smell too bad, I can use fragrances.

If you can grow, and you know its safe, mainly from the police or anyone snooping you should be ok, although you should really let your parents know.

Im guessing your thinking about a CFL grow?

What kind of high do you like first? Indica or a sativa, or a mixture. You can then go from there onto flavours and the such, and thats how you can choose the perfect strain to suit you.

It doesnt matter, I like all highs. But anyways yes I am aiming for a CFL grow. Right now I have no sockets and I'm planning on getting one of those metal/aluminum looking lights that turn on from the back sorta like the one I attached. Whats the name of those? We have a few at home but I want to know the name just incase I have to buy more than one. But for now the plant hasnt even sprouted (it's germinated and planted) and right now I dont know when it's gonna pop up but ANY light will do. So I used my brain, took a McDonald cup surround the inside with aluminum foil, cut the bottom out and took the shield off of a flash light and placed it on the top and turned it on. Now I dont have a stand to hold the light so thats what I have to do until I can get an actual light :p. When it sprouts I'll bring it up and take a pic.
