I just found out I MUST leave town on a business trip that will last 10 days!! It's not till mid September, but I just put my 12 White Widow plants into flowering last week! What can I do?? I don't think there is any way they will be ready to harvest after only 8 weeks of flowering. They spent almost 11 weeks in veg! We just recently moved to this area (east TN) and do not know anyone here I would be willing to tell I was growing! Short of flying my sister in from AZ to plant sit, is there anything else I can do?? Would appreciate ANY suggestions.................

use a timer for the lights combined with a horticultural lighting contactor to stop it blowing (i just bought one a few hrs ago for my setup) & I've seen timed watering systems advertised & the local hydro shop has a nice one on display a bit expensive but worth it i reckon. Hope that helped.
If your light's are on timers I think that if you go to a garden center a heard
of these things that you put in the soil an it some how water's it.
it was a long time ago so i don't remember But go to a garden center
an ask if theay have any thing to water your house plant's when you go
out of town.I'am preaty sure they have something that would help
good luck

One easy way.
Get a tub
a pump
and some little water hoses to run from the pump in the water.
Keep it on a timer that waters every how e ver much you want.

You can also water with a wick system. But JDog is right, a small pump and timer system is the easiest most foolproof way. Set the pump for minimum flow and use small tubing because it's easy to overwater this way.

Hey Lady... If they are 8 weeks into flowering the day you leave.. then you shuld be able to water them thoroughly... I assume you are growing in soil..
water them thoroughly and get some oversized trays for your containers that can hold run off.... water your pplants until the trays are filled to the top...
then reduce yur lighting to 10 on and 14 hours off.. less heat will make your final watering last LONGER..
A good thorough watering of 1 gallon of water into a 5 gallon container, in a room with a temperature of 70-75 degrees, should last a plant that is in the final week of its flowering.. at least 7-10 days.. AT LEAST!

Water with a timer. you have some time to figure out what amount to use. I'd use 1/4" soaker hose with a tee to make a ring around the base of the plant.

I'd say you have about 6.5 weeks to build yourself a kickass growroom.
Any growroom you can leave for 10 days is kickass in my book

Well,
I've grown WW and have harvest at eight weeks and at ten. Yes, ten was better than eight but either is still a better high than anything the local dealers has.
