going to 1st day of new job high

who else likes to show up for their first day at a new job high? im hitting some bongs right now :rasta: . i like being high regardless, but this lets me show up in a new territory where they dont know me, but theyll just think my highness is natural. all though rumor is im working with alot of stoners again, so maybe they'll just accept me into there group.

What would happen if your first day at work were 'Bring Your Daughter to Work Day" and it just so happens that part of the festivities is the exhibition of a drug dog used by the state police... True story... Very embarassing moment... Not for me, thank God.

I would never go anywhere where I'm new doing something that people wont like. Such as bad mouthing senior employes, goin high, drunk or anything. I would learn the place. Dont wanna get hired and fired the same day lol.

That's what I'm saying, learn your enviornment first.

In the story that I alluded to, there was this guy that came to my job high on his first day. He just got done with training (6 months paid training) and was a few weeks away from his bennies kicking in.

So this day, his class was being 'released' and were to report to the center. It was also the bring your kid to work day and at this location, there was a long standing tradition of inviting the state troopers because they had a barracks on the same property.

So the day is going OK and there are refreshments in the cafeteria. During the refreshments, the state police were mingling and still had their dogs. As soon as he walked in, the dogs started going crazy and one of them 'hit' on him. The manager asks the state police what kind of dogs they were and they responded they were solely trained for drugs...

So, with the guys consent, they searched him and found a little over an 8th. 6 months of paid training, full bennies, and a $45,000 + bonuses/yr job...gone...in a matter of hours...because someone decided to show up high and didn't know the lay of the land.

It all depend on what I'd be doing at a new job. Something where there is a lot of learning and memory needed, I won't get high. Someone will explain something to me and I'll come off looking like a retard because I forgot not 2 seconds after they told me. If it's just lifting, labour work, then yeah, I'll get baked, but not when it's mental work. I have to gicve myself a week or two before I'll toke up before work.

What's your new job yoda? Just curious. :)

Yeah, I'd go stoned to my first day of work there. I used to stock at Wal-Mart all night, and we all used to get just ripped. Everyone seemed to get their job done a little quicker while so happy. :)

Hell yea I'd get high before I go. I unload trucks and do some stocking where I work and I love going in baked. Just makes the work a little easier...:thumbsup:

I personally couldn't go to work for the 1st time baked. Maybe the 3rd of 4th, but too much to take in the 1st day. If you can get by with it, then more power you to :stoned:

What kinda pothead doesnt come to work stoned? I was stock manager at a mall in Rich's once and even told my employees that I got high everyday before work. People arent as interested in your life and activities as you would like to believe. Weed can make you really paranoid and self concious if you let it. Most have their own shit goin on. Of course, I wasnt working for cops, or at a nuclear facility either. I would go high on my first day so if anything they just thought that was the way I was. Shit, by the end of the first week I was smoking at the loading docks on break with everyone. Good times even if it was work.
