I Just Told My Mom That I Smoke Weed

...and she's fine with it! This is great for a number of reasons:

1) I can smoke in the house
2) I get lighters whenever I need
3) I CAN GROW IT! :smokin:
4) I can order any cannabis related item online and don't have to worry about my mom finding out

But I'm most excited about growing. I'm going to get a hydroponics system in my room, order some seeds, and start dealing... I'm so fucking happy. My mom was worried at first when I told her I was smoking cannabis, but I told her the facts about it and had a long talk with her, and she's fine with it. I even offered some to her and told her whenever she was in pain (she has an unknown muscle disease/disorder and is occasionally in a lot of pain because of it) to feel free to ask me for some. She declined, but said she might have some if she's in extreme pain again (I told her about the medicinal benefits of cannabis).

So now that I'm going to start growing, I'll need to know the basic things to get started, but I'll save that for another thread in the growing section of the forum.

That's really cool. My mom pretty much knows I do it (she caught me once but I told her I was just "experimenting" and wouldn't do it again), but I always deny it when she brings it up. Nonetheless, she seems to be pretty cool about it and just earlier today I started going on a rant about various misconceptions about cannabis and she seemed to be taking in everything I was saying pretty well. Once I turn 18 (a few months), I'm flat out telling her I do it.

Why not? The area I live in NEEDS dealers so badly. Especially dealers that actually grow themselves, as I can think of 0 right now that do. Also, EVERYONE around here smokes weed, the amount of money I can make is ridiculous. I know not to go too far.

It's your choice. But if you get caught selling remember you will be charged with posession and distribution and it's a chance that your legal guardian can get in trouble to. If I were you I wouldnt grow any more than 2 to 4 plants (or maybe just keep a mother plant a keep growing one plant at a time) because if you end up with an all out 6+ plant grow theres no doubt if you get caught cops are gonna think you are growing to sell. Actually if you posess anything over probably 2 grams they think you are posessing drugs with intent to distribute.

My moms really confusing about weed....she used to be soo against everything(she tried weed once and she's bein drunk like 4 times) but now if my room smells she'll just be like "did you have a smoke" and I say no everytime and she knows im baked but she just talks to me like she normally would...last year or the year before she bought me an X-box for breaking all my paraphenellia and promising that I wont smoke any more and this year I tryed growing(bein gowing for like a month and a half or so) and she found my plants, she just said I know about your plants and she didnt make me throw em out or anything so I continued growing....I guess she kinda realizes Im not gonna listen to her and Ill do whatever I want basically sounds kinda mean but at least we dont fight about weed anymore lol

Maybe you should ask yourself whether you care about your mother or not?! Ask yourself and her whether she is truely aware of the implications of you getting caught growing and selling. Sit down with her (like you did to inform her of the positives with MJ) and go to the NORML website. Look under your state and look at the penalties if your caught. Read everything and realize that just because your 16 doesn't mean you can't be tried as an adult. especially if your dealing also. It also doesn't mean that your mother won't be indicted for letting a minor do these things and under her house (which could be taken away). Then one last time ask her "Mom, are you willing to do all and possibly through away your life because I want to be selfish, deal and smoke pot?":(

DON'T fuck it up with dealing man. You can get you, and your mom in a lot of trouble. If you absolutely have to, then be really smart about it. Even if you don't get caught up with the police, knowing you're the only dealer in your town your name will probably get around. I'm sure there's a lot of people that would love to jack some kid that just starting dealing. One of my friends was just selling for some one else and one night he got held at gunpoint and 2 ounces were stolen from him. He still had to pay his dealer $700 for the debt. Another one of my friends was selling for one of his dealers for just one week and he almost got jacked 3 times. You have to actually understand all the things you're getting yourself into just by selling. Even if you think you're town is the kind of town where nobody would do that, there is most likely that one crew that would love to have some fun with a 16 year old. People are smarter than you think too. They will act like they are your friend, and they'll wait until they've gained your trust to do something. Trust me, I know how people are like these day and I've learned to not completely trust anyone. If you do start selling, which I really don't reccomend, mabye just hand out large amounts to one of your good friends or something and have them pay you the amount for the sack you gave them. Then, they can sell that sack in smaller quantities so both of you are making profit. You just have to make sure your name does not get out at all. I think mabye you should think about it for a little bit before you start selling.

Hey man, that's great your mom is cool with it. I have a piece of advice though: Out of respect for your mom (especially since she's letting you grow it), don't deal. Keep it for personal use. AND DON'T TELL *ANYONE* YOU GROW FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Ask yourself if jail time and the additional pain your mother will feel if you get caught is worth it. People WILL snitch and they WILL steal your weed if they know you have lots of it.

Also, growing hydroponically is not as easy as buying a grow kit on ebay and planting a seed. Research and see if the risk is worth the reward. Also consider outdoor guerilla growing, so NOBODY can know, even your close friends. It has to be between you and God, my friend.
