If you find money, you don't need it? If you have money, you don't need it? Of course you need it. If you haven't, you can't move. What makes a bird like a bird? Money is a bird.Like wings of a bird, they fly...

Money, get away.
Get a good job with good pay and youre okay.
Money, its a gas.
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash.
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think Ill buy me a football team.

Money, get back.
Im all right jack keep your hands off of my stack.
Money, its a hit.
Dont give me that do goody good bullshit.
Im in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a lear jet.

Money, its a crime.
Share it fairly but dont take a slice of my pie.
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today.
But if you ask for a raise its no surprise that theyre
Giving none away.

Huhuh! I was in the right!
Yes, absolutely in the right!
I certainly was in the right!
You was definitely in the right. that geezer was cruising for a
Bruising!
Yeah!
Why does anyone do anything?
I dont know, I was really drunk at the time!
I was just telling him, he couldnt get into number 2. he was asking
Why he wasnt coming up on freely, after I was yelling and
Screaming and telling him why he wasnt coming up on freely.
It came as a heavy blow, but we sorted the matter out

Meh, people who say money is the root of all evil, it is also the root of all life. Life revolves around money. Withouta money, you'll be unemployed, homeless, and begging on the streets.

It leads alot of people to greed...

A technically worthless obstacle standing between what I need for survival, or what I want for pleasure.

I'd like to try the barter system out again, but it would probably end up just as corrupt I guess...

It came recommended and it leaves in the same light.

yes I think it could....money hasn't been around for ever...and it seems the richer people get the worse the world seems to become.

People live in the mountains without any money....no work or anything....all you need to live is food and water....

Money is just material..... that humankind has come to love more than life in somecases.

I too have visited people who live out in the middle of no where and very little concept of what money is and these people are more at-one with nature and healthier looking than stars with liposuction, cut, tuck, and get fkt up.!

Sages said " people have feelings about 'things' that 'things' cannot satisfy ". Rightly put, purely material living and little concept of what it actually means to be alive.

...money is time....my time is money, and it ain't cheap.

...the world could exist without 'money' but we'd always need some form of currency for trade.

I hate money when it comes down to it. Why can't we all just live free, on our land, surviving with just your 2 hands, getting your own food, building your own shelter. It's where you have the choice to live, or die.

When I think about it, money is worth nothing really. That fancy ink on a piece of paper, one with a $5 printed on it, one with $1000 printed on it. No difference in cost to produce, except adding 3 extra numbers on it, yet there is a huge sum difference on it and a lot of us will never see a $1000 bill.

"Money is the root of all evil"

Money Stinks... Money Stinks
This city stinks
Smell the power, smell the health
Smell the poverty of Americas wealth
Money smells of evil, greed
Capitolist wants and pumped up needs
Money stinks
Money stinks
This city stinks
Smell the logic... Smell the jet planes
The dangerous goals and crooked aims
Smell the progress... Smell the dirty money
Smells like shit, this isn't funny
Money stinks
Money stinks
This city stinks
Nobody cares about the air we breath
Nobody cares about the air we need
Smell the profit, smell the success
Smell the dying dream of the mighty west
Smell the factories, smell all the cars
The adult book stores and the topless bars
Smell the pretty people, smell their false pity
Smell the broken promise of the living city
Smell the real reason, smell, smell the one way plan
The real estate, the desperate, state of modern man
Smell the excess, smell the death
Smell the wet dream of this human mess

without money we'd all be farmers. so you have to ask your self. do you feel like farming..... punk?

lolclinteastwood

without money there wouldnt be any electricity, becuase no one is gunan run a plant for free, and no one is going to build you a solar panal for free.

and the list could go on.

or maybe we could just learn from the underpants gnomes. they seem to get along okay, right? its simple!

Step 1. Steal Underpants
Step 2. ???

Ok I admit it might get slightly boring at times....but I believe thats only because we have found many things to distract us in modern society.

Would you prefere to live the "Water, Food, Mountain" life
Or the life you are living now? Considering if you lived in the first option you would be free to do what you wanted......within reason obviously.

Maybe im just wanting to live in my own little fantasy world......maybe I already am?

Sure, life could exist without it. In fact, 99.999999% of the species on this planet get along just fine without it.

I think communist theory is a little more developed than that. There is a lot of discussion out there on creating a society without property, without capitalism, and without money, based on the principles of direct democracy and communal ownership of the means of production. You might want to actually take the time to read about it before you dismiss it as impossible.

What is money for you?

Everything. In my eyes without money you cant live because everything that you need to live (other than things your body can do for you) you need money for it. I mean of course you could stop buying food and start hunting pig ass and live in the wild but no one wants to do that, especially in the winter :p.

Money is just our medium of exchange. No more to it than it, until you start thinking there is. ;)
