Bathroom Grow ..en ideas? tell me what you think...

Hey..

so i was at my buddys place with a 2 bath one bedroom place and i came up with the idia of using one of the b-rooms to grow....we had talked about it for hours one night and came up with tons of ideas one being just use the floor space with w/e system your goin to use and boost the vent fan or just keep it on 24/7..however after some thought i thought of the idea of using the actual tub as a resevoir for a either passive..using just air stones and keep the level up soo the nutes hit the water or use a pump for a drip system...What do u guys think? also this tub has doors soo its closed off from the rest of the area and we would make some sort of cover pylwood with inserts to block the light offf...as for the light ..one 400 wath hps and 6 led light bars....

I would shoot for something neat looking. I would put something over the tub (some kind of plastic top or coated board that won't absorb water) that will hold 2 net pots for 2 plants equally spaced apart. Build a screen over the entire tub and do a bathtub SCROG. The 400 is probably a bit too small for the space but, it will work. Get a large air pump (or a bunch of small ones) in the tub with a bunch of air stones (the more air the better). Hopefully the tub is made of porcelain and it will keep the res naturally cool. Put a carbon filter in the bathroom and leave the bathroom fan on for half of everyday to bring in new air and there you have it. Easy and cheap.

Maybe you could use the leds for cloning or veg? I don't like to use anything but HID lighting just for the efficiency.

ridex sells 4 x 8 sheets of plastic boards in any thickness they are not cheap if I recall $100 a sheet or so.here is there number this location is in san diego maybe they are national I have no idea 858-560-1551

soo to turn this to a scrog..place the screen about a foot or soo above the starts and then ass they grow to it bend it over and start pushing the branched in each one of the screen??

Kind of. I will give a quick explanation.
Once the plant reaches the screen just push it back under. Basically the plant will spread out as you keep pushing it under and moving it further and further out. Once you feel the plant is big enough (you think it will cover all the area you have for it), turn it to 12/12. It will continue to stretch and you will have to push it under for another week or so, then just leave it alone. All the tips will come through the screen at the same time and make a perfectly even canopy. 2 plants could cover your entire area. Takes longer to veg but, it is a site to behold when it is done.
