hey all i have the exaulst pipe from my carbon filter hangin out my bedroom window as i cant drill holes in the walls and no loft etc... well the point of this thread is that it makes me feel uneasy. the pipe hangin out the window i have it fixed into my head that people are goin to know what it is... should i be this para?? i mean it could just be a pipe from a tumble dryer or washin machine right??? damn i get rid of smell as to not get busted and in doin so i could get my ass busted .. i even stoped my film to write this thread... i mean as the carbon filter isnt on at the min durin lights off night time i was goin to pull the pipe in so its not hangin out the window all day and night then wen lights come on in the mornin i would open my tent hang the pipe out window and switch filter on.. or mabe i could just leave it hmmm its just the fact the pipe is really wide and silver it stands out.. lol my tent kinda looks like a space ship with it lol.. anyways im gonna get back to my film and spliff.. i hope i get a reply sayin not to worry and stop bein para.. coz the main reason i dont want to get caught is not becoz i dont want to go to prison.. its becoz it fucks up my chances of growin safely again needless to say i dont want to go to prison.. but even tho i am stoned i think any happy grower would feel pretty much the same... o my 3rd grow now:D i love it been in flower 3weks now. buds comin i love it:D right back to my film.. happy growin all:rasta:

Well, is the pipe visible from the distance of what other people will see it at? If its hanging outside a window at the back of the house and youve got a garden, then you probably dont have anything to worry about. Just look at how visible it is from a neighbours/passers by perspective. If you are still worried about it being visible, maybe put a trellis up and buy some sort of climbing vine to cover it up.

i was watchin superman returns lol.. well i got half way n was half asleep.. o well no gain no lose film was free;)... erm well bak to the pipe its hangin out my beroom window 2ndfloor.. i have a big tree coverin my window.. and grass out bak so peps walkin by prob wont see it but like a few close neighbours on the 2nd level may see it wen lookin out there window.. but then sayin that its only a pipe so i shouldnt have anythin to worry bout i hope ..

just leave the tubing in the room.... there is no reason to hang it out the window, if there is already the carbon scrubber on there...
just let all the air fall back into your house, it wont stink b/c it's already been filtered..
and that way your just 10000% sure that no one can see your grow...
i would say only exhaust out your house if that is where you want to send all the foul odors too, but your just sending out clean air....

well i just told my dad what u surjested and he said if i leave the pipe in my room it can kill my plants.. he says that the air comin out of the exhaulst pipe from the filter is stale air is he right?? anyway i think i will just leave it as it is.. n if im destine for prison then fuck it.. ;)

no... sorry but your dad is wrong.
I assume your apartment has AC. that means you have constant air flow in your house and the chances of your "stale air" (if thats what you want t call it) coming back into your tent is highly unlikely.
I try to keep the AC on auto when im growing. That way it clicks on every 20 min for a few minutes and circulates the air in my area.
If your not worried about the smell in your house, then ventilating back into your room is fine.

Mine is, and the air is being recirulated to my plants through another filter/ionizer.
