hey guys i have a question.... about half an hour ago me and one of my friends were getting high at my house in my room we were chillin for a bit after a while we decided to smoke some more..... problem is we ran out. anyway we realy wanted to smoke more so he was like why do you scrape your pipe....... and i was like wtf will that get you high? anyways i got my scissors and scrapped out the inside of my pipe and got out all this black junk... i was like naw man thats rank but he kept saying look at all the green in it anyway we smoked like 4-5 bowls of this black stuff he call "res" anyway half an hour later here i am and i got a pretty good buzz out of it.... does any1 else do this or is it gross or what?

Yeah, it's called resin. It's the resin that builds up from the smoke. It has a lot of tar and particulates, but gets you where you need to go. It works nicely in extreme conditions.

Some people think it's nasty. I think taking something that grows out of the ground, putting flame to it, and inhaling the smoke that forms is nasty, but I do it.

By the way, slipknotpsycho has a pretty good guide for getting all of the resin out of pipes, but I'm... not gonna look for it right now. I'm sure you could find it in two seconds though.

Loads of people do it but its horrible. It might give you a buzz, but at the same time its helping you die. All that black stuff is sticking itsself onto your lungs... Errrr...

And the more resin you have coating your lungs, the less high you'll get when you do smoke because it'll be harder for the THC to absorb into the lining of the lungs

I remember this was before I knew what resin was and I took the cone out of my bong and I saw shit loads of this black shit hence 'resin' and I just pushed it down to the bottum of my bong that night I read here on Cannabis.com that I could get high off that shit and I just said "shit" because I was out of weed

yeah i dont think imma be smoking that crap anymore..... apart from the 2 times i did.. it gave me a buzz but for like 45 minutes tops id rather be smoking me and my sisters crop but we gotta wait another 5-6 weeks till the end of flowering truley sucks waiting but i know it will be worth it

Hit that Shit! lol, There isn't anything wrong with smoking resin... It's just smoke concentrating on the side, yeah it tastes gross because it's burnt twice, but it's not any worse for you then smoking normal weed. Scraping a pipe is a great way to get high if your out of herb.

sometimes instead of cleaning my pieces i'll scrape them all out, then mix the resin with a bunch of kief and make myself some poor mans hash. It's actually alot better than some of the soap shit i've had

i used to give the pipe a scrape and smoke resin when i was out of weed, but now when i'm out of weed i'm just out of weed. smoking resin is gross in my opinion. plus its pretty much all nasty chemicals and makes your mouth taste like shit for the rest of the day. i don't need to get high that bad.

you know i'd much rather smoke bud, but sometimes it's there and weed isn't so.. yeah i smoke it, smoking it all these years i've actually gotten very used to the taste, doesn't taste nasty to me anymore, i know it USED to, but not anymore lol.
