Hi people,
I am new to growing the herb and am trying an indoor hydro setup. Two main questions--would appreciate any advice on each. 1. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to "lightproof" my setup during flowering stage--no photos sorry--but due to small living space have several pots in one corner of a bedroom in an area about 4x8 feet with Mylar on 3 sides (one side is just a hanging sheet). I have heard that any extra light during the 12/12 cycle can really mess up the flowering so if anyone has ideas (cheap I hope) on how to "close off" that section of the room would be great. Is there other kind of lighting I can use (green light?) and where would I get this or what else could I use that would not affect the plants? 2. At what point do light interruptions cause a problem--if a streetlight outside went on would that do it or something along that line? I have read on some sites that if ONE SPECK of light sneaks in when it isn't supposed to you may as well write the whole plant group off and lesser but still horrifying variations of the same rule. PLEASE!--what is the truth oh knowledgable ones? ?
Thanks
