They want MJ legalized and have made their support on MM public now. I have read but haven't seen here where anyone has posted this yet and sure didn't want THIS announcement to be overlooked. Now for the ones that are non believers..how do you feel about Christians trying to get MJ legalized..are they offending you now?

Of course its NOT coaches..its the Presbyterians..just want to make sure its not confused now with a coaches assc. seeing as how they do not advocate MM...but these Church members do..and want it legalized.

I think I should've put a colon, in there. The Parent-Teacher's Association. If the teacher's are pushing for Medical Marijuana, you know the parents are.

Christians need to get slapped.

Why don't you walk around the World and slap those who believe in Christ, PureEvil?

Christians need to get slapped.
Why do you post here with a comment like that? Do Christians threaten you that much in your viewpoint that we NEED to be assaulted? And just so you know..not all Christians turn the other cheek..some hit back..you know..the eye for an eye belief. This thread is not about you okay..I started it so some would know what is being done by somes Faith & Church members. to legalize MJ...not for you to express what needs to be done to Christians physically..

Shelbay, I'd be interested to find any sort of link that tells more about this if you can find one. I've heard nothing about this, and the fact that it's supposedly PCA makes me skeptical.
The Presbyterian Church of America is the much more conservative branch of Presbyterianism, whereas the PCUSA is the more liberal, or reformed, branch. I'm a member of a PCUSA church, and, as anyone who knows the two will tell you, PCUSA is the branch that's far more likely to advocate the legalization of MJ, if indeed the church is, because they are more likely to be the ones who accept and/or tolerate progressive ideas.

Birdgirl..It was on the news 3 days ago..maybe 4..msnbc. I don't post links but google should show you. Its true. I don't have to ask anyone about it..I saw it on the news in big red letters while the statement was read from the PCA..they also stressed that the only way their members would use MM is IF it becomes legal though..I thought the support from the Church would be talked about on here. No matter how conservative this is a TRUE FACT about the PCA. Good to see you on here & hello. Just because you haven't heard about it & your skeptical does not mean its not true..maybe the news stations don't want it to be well circulated news?

Beachguy..you should be in Hollywood! You & Spade make me laugh! Well..even having 5 minutes when I am "multi-tasking" is not enough..As far as looking into the THC ministry..I try to attend EVERY day.:smokin: haha..you have sarcasm with a smile down to a t!! Wow! That's amazing. Thanks for writing back. I'll have to ask around when we get home and see what everyone has heard, and I'll do some investigating on Google. Makes sense that they wouldn't advocate its use until weed becomes legal. That's more like the PCA I know.
Vacation is great! I'm already lonely for my dogs, though, and I miss my own bed at home. We got my sister into the pool yesterday and are going to attempt to get her into the ocean today. There are some pretty strong rip-tides, though, and so that may not be a good idea since she's not very strong herself. I'm enjoying not cooking and just being a lady of complete leisure. When I retire, I think I'll probably need to live somewhere on the beach.

Oh they stressed very strongly about it being legal..still shocked me though..never thought I would live to see that on the news. Thats really good your relaxing & I am happy your sister is with you..you "sound" relaxed. I love the Gulf Coast..usually stay like 4-5 months of the year at "the beach":) At night I fix a cup of coffee & sit out on the balcony & just listen to the ocean..when the waves come in ..its just peaceful to me,the only time I truly relax & let my guard down is here. You have the right idea on what to do when you retire..for all the drawbacks of Gulf Coast Living the positives outweight the negs imo. I'm going to eat now & you do the same..keep your spirits up & be safe:) Im really happy to know your sister is with you & where you are..good news is scarce these days and it helps me when I read something like this, thanks for sharing.

Shelbay, these people (Christians) would've spoken up, a long time ago. They didn't have this problem seventy years ago. The organization, as a whole, must've been like, "What the bah-jesus? They're outlawing Grass?"
It built up for thirty or forty years, then Father Baltch got high with the Mayor. Twenty years later, the P.C.A. has proof to throw up in the government's face.
