Ok this is the 2nd seedling i've grown in the same pot....1st seedling grew 2 small leaves + 2 baby leaves....and it just stop growing....

Now i have another seedling in the same pot and it grows where it has the same number of leaves as the 1st seedling and it also stops.....I have the same pot with the same soil next to it and its growing just fine....I wonder why???

What do you mean stop...?

A plant will shoot up from seed and do most of its growing in the first 2-5 days.. Then the growth will (appear to) slow down (nearly stop) for 5-8 days..

during this time period (5-8days) the plant will be focusing its energy on root growth.... this takes place in the dirt.. LOL

On day 14-17 a healthy MJ plant will begin to EXPLODE!!! A new node will appear every 1-2 days...

.. does this help... I HAVE MORE ANSWERS IF YOU NEED THEM.. LOL

and NOW you KNOWM

this is what i mean by stop growing........two pots, 2 cfl 85watts, same soil, 2 seeds (same bag)....they both sprouted in about 1.5days..they both grew a set of leaves...1 continued to grow and the other just stopped..i checked everyday and the good plant would show new growth every day but the other just remained in the seedling stage...i waited 2 weeks and STILL didn't grow past 1 inch....used another seed in the same pot and it did the same thing....i can't be the soil b/c the soil iam using is working fine for the other.. iam stumped...

It could be the seeds.

weird... GK might be right.
i also noticed that when the seedling grows its first adult leaves, it stays that size for a few days as the new set of leaves (slowly) get bigger.

hmmm didn't think about the seeds....i just assumed once they sprout they were gonna be healthy plants...(..in the right conditions of course...)
