I was a fool and decided that i could smoke at work and got busted by my boss i got fired and he called my parents man does this suck luckily the cops werent involved i imagine some people have had it way worse than me but right now i feel like total crap like how could i be so stupid to do that on the first day and blow such a great job now i am fucked for the summer and prolly cant smoke for a while and i got an ounce of fresh bud that i need to get rid of Man am i bummed but hey every smoker has a bad day its just why cant this plant be legal its just pisses me off to know that it is still illegal. But i can only let people hear my voice i still fucked up majorily i dont even no why i pulled my blunt out for no reason and smoked. Man this sucks

i was smoking a blunt and he could smell it then to make things worse they kept calling me saying if i did stuff like work for free for 2 weeks they wouldnt say anything then they go and call my parents after i had created two deals with them and they agreed not to tell them but they still call and tell my parents now i am on watch by my dad who has a keen smell of pot and says that it will ruin my life and will get me hooked

honestly If my parents found out I smoke they would probly ship me to some boarding school. theres really no arguing with most parents becuase they think that just because they are the parents that they're right no matter what. If someone is so strongly anti-drug theres really no way to change their mind. One of my friends got caught and now his parents treat him like a fucking prisoner and are forcing him to go to church because they think he needs to be "saved by god"

bro i can definitely feel for you... i got caught about 12 days ago by my parents and they said they were gonna test me every 2 weeks until i go to college... so it kinda sux... but life will move on and there is more to it than gettin blazed (although it is fun)... going from 4-5 bowls a day to zero makes you realize how much you take for granted (like being high)... i think i am going to cut down to once a week or less... its hard...

print off a dossier of all the information and post anonymously to your folks. make sure you find as much anti smoking info you can, the arguments are so laughable it's practically on our side.

my parents caught me but thankfully they dont really care. they dont want it to become a bad habit but aslong as i dont do it in front of them, i am cool. i have been trying to tell them about it and they actually listen to me. i am very lucky. i am pretty sure they did it too so i think that is why that are so understanding.

Dude, my parents are really anti high also. Just stop the smokage for a week or two and really work to build up your trust with them. If you do it right they will lower their guard faster than you can say, "Pass that joint!" I has worked for me a few times, but it's not easy. Goodluck:thumbsup:

My dad caught me once. He's real cool, but he was still pissed. He was a hippie back in the day, so he's like "I'm not going to stand here and tell you that I never had any of this stuff, but I regret it and if I had the chance I wouldn't do it again." He promised not to tell my mom if I never did it again. I think his only real problem with me smoking pot is that it's illegal, and he doesn't want me to get into trouble with the law.

here's my humble opinion of the best way to educate parents, just for anyone it might apply too:

be respectful of your parent's house rules, if you're living in their home.

Don't slack at school, if you're in school.

Don't screw up at work, if you have a job.

In short, don't do all the stereotypical fuck-up things that people want to associate with pot smokers. Maybe develop a little class, hold down the job, rock the grade curve... Foresight people. It means not doing the things that are obviously stupid in hindsight.

Getting angry wont solve anything i smoked last night a little bit of a joint and that help ease some stuff i guess its just the fact that this job had good hours and paid well but hey i made a mistake cant change that so their is no point of being upset over something that is an issue in the past so i got to go foward in my life. No offense or anything, all are welcome in my eyes, but if you only smoke like 3 or 4 times a YEAR, why are you on a cannabis message board?
just curious. And you must have pretty bad luck if you only smoke that much and your dad already thinks you toke up...

If I were you, i'd calmly ask your parents to sit down with you in the living room, SWEAR they'd hear you out and not walk away, listen to your side and you'd listen to theirs. Also, maybe find someone a little quicker witted than you, someone who can defend the stoner's viewpoint fast and strong, and ask them to help you in your parental education.
