from a friend from my childhood, that one of our classmates killed himself, in front of his father, because his father couldn't handle it when he told him that he was gay.

I, also, learned that a classmate from Middle School and High School killed his Mother and then himself.

But, back to the first one.

That reminds me of the guy who died with AIDS and Neil Peart wrote about him in a song.

"Nobody's Hero"

1st verse-

I knew he was different in his sexuality.
I went to this parties as a straight minority.
But, never seen a threat to my masculinity.
He only introduced me to a wider reality.

As the years went by, we drifted apart.
When I heard that He was gone, I felt the shadow cross my heart.
'Cause he's nobody's hero.

Please say a prayer for Roger Z., Chris G., and Mrs. G.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever.

Okay, I'll rephrase myself.

Please hope that if their dead souls need to repent then they shall. Otherwise, find it in your heart to imagine if this was your family, or someone close.

Thanks, nuttypixi, I see that you can adapt to emotional circumstances, unlike...

The new owners might as well shut the spirituality forums down, too, if you can't even come here and ask for prayer without someone telling them that they know God's thoughts (Stoned..as..fuk, I'm glad that while God's telling you that he doesn't care, he's also teaching you how to reach others by using vulgarity).

How many plants have you grown and neglected, stoned..as..fuk? You'd learn not to neglect it. Maybe, the dinosaurs were neglected by God and this "new" Life is God's second chance.

Give the poor-guy a chance, will ya'? :smokin:

Hey Beachguy,

Buddy, I am probably no less a hassal than those from S as Fucks - end of the spectrum. Though he insists that God doesn't exist, here I come and insist that he does. Probably no less of a pinhead to most. I noticed that I made a "spiritual police" post on one with you and Shelbay. l noticed that thead ended, also _ I was a prick to Flesh....that thread didn't continue....sad, as in very.. I 've tried to find stonedasfucks friend..... man, wht is his name? Evil somethingorother, He hasn't logged on since the 10th when I jumped his shit.

You know I care for people more than this,.....even Breuk.

I pray for Breuk and you and your friends daily. I must say... God has done more work in here on me, possibly than anyone.

Hay, I'm sorry, about the loss of your friends. brings a bit of thought concerning this life and afterwards.....

God's not bound by time, even though ~ in our time and space it seems long over, I often ask him to go back ~ meet someone at a critical moment.

Jesus did that with Abraham tho ......... well I'm preaching.

I'll add your friends to my list...........An older lady lost her son,.....he never had acknowledged God....He was a bull rider and was thrown and broke his neck...died instantly.... she mentioned later that The Lord had reassured her that "when he was thrown.........before he hit the ground.........salvation was found." She finally had peace.

Again He's not bound by time. It could have been like an hour conversation with that man, from the bull to the dirt.

God grieves too, Jesus wept.
Well, logging off.....carpet time.

That's cool, braddog. Unfortunately, I can only view the first 19 years of my life as a movie. I was disconnected from the emotions. It hurts knowing that they are gone and will be missed. I'm sure that there are others who show no emotion over it, either of the stories, no matter how close they were to them, personally.

How can any complex organism just wither away? How were thoughts created through evolution?

I know......I know,.... The fact that you can know see and feel means that God is not far from you......Tragically, many that can't ~ Jesus refered to as dead, yet tho they live.

A good friend of mine, who was a high-school basketball star, blew his head off. He was born twenty years after, your friend, Vic, but died, nearly, ten years short of his age.

He was close to me. There is a city basketball tournament named after him.

If we are created in God's image, then He, too, has cannabinoid receptors and is puffin' away in Heaven. Lucky Son of An Angel.

By the looks of things, we haven't maintained an image, so what is to come?

This reminds me of this article:
Cannabinoids and Animal Physiology
http://www.nap.edu/readingroom/books/marimed/ch2.html

And an entry from http://www.thc-ministry.net/cannabisinfo.htm :

Unlike equilibrium thermodynamics (classical) which cannot account for life other than by a miracle, this new branch can be viewed as mandating it. Evolution of complex systems, inclusive of creativity, are intrinsic to my interpretation of nonequibirium thermodynamics as being the prime manifestation of the will of God. From this perspective I would interpret man being made "in the image of God" as meaning that we must embrace God's fundamental characteristic of creativity, which includes cooperatively and evolution. This principle is most elegantly displayed in the evolution of the human brain and the political and social systems that have co-developed with it. Scientifically, it has been demonstrated that the number of THC (active ingredient in marihuana) receptors increases as one looks higher up the evolutionary ladder, and furthermore, these receptors are found in highest numbers in those portions of the brain associated with human intelligence. Therefore I conclude, both logically and religiously from personal revelation, that the stimulation of these receptors is involved in thought processes that are representative of the will of God, i.e. the creative process.
