pennies. If that is too much. Don't grow.
But it should be fine for a seedling.Or a tiny plant.

recently I was informed from a nor cal gardner that running 10 - 150watt(also knowm as 42 watt) CFLs cost about 40 dollars a month...

Depends on the kwH, I learnt this from graph and image reaper lol, so let's say they charge 6ยข, so at the end of the month it'd be an estimate of 4.32, for that lamp alone I think, it sounds a bit low so I might be wrong but still if you consider the other bills you'll still be paying more than just for the elec bill lol.
