SURE SIGNS OF LIBERAL GUILT: ways self-righteousness, bleeding hearts plan on saving the republic
9/20/04

YOU KNOW YOUâ??RE A LIBERAL IF:

1. You believe the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of Federal funding.

2. You believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th graders to read is eminently qualified to teach kids about sex.

3. You believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are more of a threat than US nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Chinese communists.

4. You believe that there was no art before Federal funding.

5. You believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical, documented changes in the earth's climate and more affected by yuppies driving SUVs.

6. You believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual is natural.

7. You are against capital punishment but support abortion on demand.

8. You believe that businesses create oppression and government creates prosperity.

9. You believe that hunters don't care about nature but tree-hugging activists who've never been outside of Seattle do.

10. You believe that having self-esteem is important and should be Federally funded rather than actually doing something to earn it.

11. You believe the military, not corrupt politicians, start wars.

12. You believe the NRA is bad, because it supports the Constitution but the ACLU is good because it selectively supports some of the Constitution.

13. You believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

14. You believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, Robert E. Lee, or Thomas Edison.

15. You believe standardized IQ tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides aren't.

16. You believe Hillary Clinton should really be president.

17. You believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried, is because the right people haven't been in charge.

18. You believe conservatives telling the truth belong in jail but a liar and sex offender belongs in the White House.

19. You believe homosexuality, pedophilia, transvestism and bestiality are constitutionally- protected lifestyles but Christmas manger scenes are illegal.

20. You believe that illegal Democratic Party funding by foreign governments is in the best interests of the United States.

21. You believe this forum is part of a vast right-wing conspiracy.

22. You are now, have been, or plan on being, a â??victim.â??

Torog.....please catagorize me...What am I? Am I a moderate? :D

1. Aids is a gay disease or a disease for junkies.

2. Most teachers are of very low intellegence.

3. The Chinese have never been an imperialist nation Torog. If you have any concept of history you would know they are only intereseted in their own borders. They also went to Africa before the Europeons and left it for them. Im a liberal on this one, however I don't really care about the gun control issue. Legalize dope of all kinds and people will stop killing.

4. Artist should be dirt poor and hungry.

5. Clearly on this one you are being ridiculous. If you do not have an excellent grasp of this kind of science, you are just picking sides.

6. I believe women are women and gay people are gay. Women should be moms(its natural) and homosexuality clearly exist in a minority of nature. It exist in many species. You may not like it, but its true.

7. Im liberal....

8. Governments fuck up everything. And people will always exploit people. Its human nature.

9. This is the dumbest of all of all so far. A six year old can understand why.

10. Self Esteem is a word that exists because everybody is so confused. I think it isn't the governments affair.

11. Of course corrupt politicians(working for their corporate masters) start wars.

12. This question is too complicated. It requires a seperate essay. But the NRA is evil and the Aclu isn't. However Im not a gun control freak.

13. Both are too high, but not for me, I pay neither.

14. No rational person would think that.

15. I think the bell curve was a good book. I think AA is a means to get more blacks tuned into a whited owned black media with lots of advertising. (OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT). Really, black America was doomed by the republican party at reconstuction.

16. Barf....Look...you dont have to be a feminazi to be a radical.

17. I dont think any system will work....our problems exist within our souls, not within our system.

18. I dont get it???? Please explain

19. The constitution says we must seperate church and state...I wouldn't mind the manger if we could put a statue of bob marley with a hooka on 4-20 day. Equal time I say.

20. I believe what nader believes. The democrat and republican party are seperate wings of the same party. (like the Chinese Commy party)

21. No

22.no

Since when does anyone want a sex offender in office? clinton was voted into office before anyone knew about monica, and when we found out that he lied and was a "sexual offender" we impeached him.

all poloticians lie

i know. to think just one side of the so called political spectrum (the controlled paradigm, both sides leading to the same end) is corrupt is just plain naive.

you can only trust the ones with an R next to their name? they're all following the communist manifesto, it's command and control.

the real spectrum is dictatorship (total government control of your life) and anarchy (no government)...

a constitutional republic is very close to anarchy, and far away from a dictatorship. there's a rule of law with enumerated powers for the feds and separation of powers and checks and balances. that's not the way it works anymore, and it doesn't matter if bush or kerry is selected.

I didnt know you could still get black and white tv's torog. i wish i could see everything as clearly as your good self, itd make life a lot easier.
My brain hurts ever scince I tried to be open minded and practical about issues and their contributing factors. Thats right, contributing factors, not the one clear definable reason why things are, the million intertwined issues that complicate everything.
The environment might not be the portfolio for you to advise on though, use your skills where they will be of the most benefit.

I think the above portion of this quote is right on....(the real spectrum)

However, I think that the constitutional republic is closer to the dictatorship. We certainly are not living under 'no government'.

well, a constitutional republic gives you the most freedom you can possibly have, but with a rule of law, enumerating the feds powers and giving the rest to the states, with checks and balances and separation of powers.

currently, we are pretty close to dictatorship, but that's not a reflection of constitutional republics, our CR has been subverted. we don't operate how the country was intended, and haven't for well over 100 years. if we did, we'd be closer to anarchy than to dictatorship, in my opinion.

Howdy Imotep,

Have you ever heard of the acrynomn, K.I.S.S. ? (Keep It Simple,Stupid) I'm not calling you or anyone else, stupid,it's basically an admonishment,to one's self,to keep things simple,if possible, because one can git bogged down with infinite shades of gray..having a clearly defined sense of one's beliefs and that which one strives for, is a blessing-not a curse.

Have you seen the movie,"The Butterfly Effect" ?

Basically, the premise is that the flapping of a single butterfly's wings, could cause a ripple effect, that could lead to a typhoon on the other side of the world, that a singular action, could lead to a completely different reality. If one tried to extrapolate all the possible permutations of all the millions of contributing factors to any given situation-it could lead one to madness.

As for the enviroment, you may well be right on that,I take the practical view towards the enviroment-not the emotional view that many left-wingers take.

I'm a practical minded person, and I don't like that which is un-practical,I'm also a man of Faith,I believe that God has it all figured out-that we all contribute to God's Plan,in one way or another..finding that narrow,twisting,hard-to-find,path to God,is a difficult task as it is-without making it more complicated with a million permutations.

Have a good one....Torog

Based on your answers,I believe that you're farther to the Left-than you realize-not that there's anything wrong with that, you're entitled to your beliefs.

Torog, I think of myself as fairly practical too, but Ive been guilty of crossin the line to "nature knows best" and being a hippy about it. its taken me awhile to get free of puritanical green stance.
Its good to be sure. And its good to have faith.
Good post.

talk about double think. everything torog just said, applies to torog.

and the US is now a socialist country. do you know what socialism looks like torog? if we were living under it, they sure wouldn't call it that. have you read the communist manifesto? do you know the 10 planks of it?

i'll post it again, since you always ignore it everywhere else i've posted it.

ARE Americans practicing Communism?
Read the 10 Planks of The Communist Manifesto to discover the truth and learn how to know your enemy...

Karl Marx describes in his communist manifesto, the ten steps necessary to destroy a free enterprise system and replace it with a system of omnipotent government power, so as to effect a communist socialist state. Those ten steps are known as the Ten Planks of The Communist Manifestoâ?¦ The following brief presents the original ten planks within the Communist Manifesto written by Karl Marx in 1848, along with the American adopted counterpart for each of the planks. From comparison it's clear MOST Americans have by myths, fraud and deception under the color of law by their own politicians in both the Republican and Democratic and parties, been transformed into Communists.

Another thing to remember, Karl Marx in creating the Communist Manifesto designed these planks AS A TEST to determine whether a society has become communist or not. If they are all in effect and in force, then the people ARE practicing communists.

Communism, by any other name is still communism, and is VERY VERY destructive to the individual and to the society!!

The 10 PLANKS stated in the Communist Manifesto and some of their American counterparts are...

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.
Americans do these with actions such as the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (1868), and various zoning, school & property taxes. Also the Bureau of Land Management (Zoning laws are the first step to government property ownership)

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
Americans know this as misapplication of the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, 1913, The Social Security Act of 1936.; Joint House Resolution 192 of 1933; and various State "income" taxes. We call it "paying your fair share".

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
Americans call it Federal & State estate Tax (1916); or reformed Probate Laws, and limited inheritance via arbitrary inheritance tax statutes.

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
Americans call it government seizures, tax liens, Public "law" 99-570 (1986); Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of "terrorists" and those who speak out or write against the "government" (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process. Asset forfeiture laws are used by DEA, IRS, ATF etc...).

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
Americans call it the Federal Reserve which is a privately-owned credit/debt system allowed by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. All local banks are members of the Fed system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) another privately-owned corporation. The Federal Reserve Banks issue Fiat Paper Money and practice economically destructive fractional reserve banking.

6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.
Americans call it the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver's licenses and Department of Transportation regulations.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
Americans call it corporate capacity, The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agricultureâ?¦ Thus read "controlled or subsidized" rather than "owned"â?¦ This is easily seen in these as well as the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Americans call it Minimum Wage and slave labor like dealing with our Most Favored Nation trade partner; i.e. Communist China. We see it in practice via the Social Security Administration and The Department of Labor. The National debt and inflation caused by the communal bank has caused the need for a two "income" family. Woman in the workplace since the 1920's, the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, assorted Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Federal Public Works Program and of course Executive order 11000.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.
Americans call it the Planning Reorganization act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public "law" 89-136. These provide for forced relocations and forced sterilization programs, like in China.

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
Americans are being taxed to support what we call 'public' schools, but are actually "government force-tax-funded schools " Even private schools are government regulated. The purpose is to train the young to work for the communal debt system. We also call it the Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based "Education" . These are used so that all children can be indoctrinated and inculcated with the government propaganda, like "majority rules", and "pay your fair share". WHERE are the words "fair share" in the Constitution, Bill of Rights or the Internal Revenue Code (Title 26)?? NO WHERE is "fair share" even suggested !! The philosophical concept of "fair share" comes from the Communist maxim, "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need! This concept is pure socialism. ... America was made the greatest society by its private initiative WORK ETHIC ... Teaching ourselves and others how to "fish" to be self sufficient and produce plenty of EXTRA commodities to if so desired could be shared with others who might be "needy"... Americans have always voluntarily been the MOST generous and charitable society on the planet.

Do changing words, change the end result? ... By using different words, is it all of a sudden OK to ignore or violate the provisions or intent of the Constitution of the united States of America?????

The people (politicians) who believe in the SOCIALISTIC and COMMUNISTIC concepts, especially those who pass more and more laws implementing these slavery ideas, are traitors to their oath of office and to the Constitution of the united States of America... KNOW YOUR ENEMY ...Remove the enemy from within and from among us.

VOTE LIBERTARIAN, the only political party in America that still firmly supports and diligently abides by the Constitution of the united States of America.

Hi Torog
Im not really sure if Im a leftist...Clearly I have SOME right handed thoughts. I think racial quotas are wrong. I do not like the Federal Government to fund art or things of that nature. I am against most welfare. I hate feminism.
Some of the things we differ on hardly fall into the spectrum. I think Global Warming exists because the overwhelming amount of data shows that this is true. Im not pulling for a side, Im just making an observation. It has nothing to do with being liberal. Conservative people (and liberals too) tend to blind themselves to certain facts. Conservatives want to believe the oil company paid for studies which suggest the environment has no problems, or that the world will never run out of natural resources. Liberals want to believe that whites are completly at fault for all the problems of blacks, women can do whatever a man can do etc...

I Just call it as I see it........Even at the age of 39, I sometimes change my mind about a big issue. I didn't know every thing when I was 16. I still don't. But most people just seem to keep their same beliefs from the begining of life till its end. As if they were defending the character they have been acting out their whole life.
