its true, the battery died on my old 1st generation 10 gig ipod not too long ago

however, i think apple got in trouble for this, and now they have to provide some sort of cheaper support for this battery problem

the USDA certified organic dirty little secret: the farm may be organic, but USDA does not require that the farm be distanced from major highways.

no you don't, you only have to purchase the movie you you're a week orverdue, which seems pretty reasonable to me.

on the ipod note, my battery totally died after a month and a half of owning it (it's a 4 GB ipod mini). Then after they replaced it the thing died again after 4 months, which I got replaced again (all covered by warranty). Now, my batter won't last more than 1 hour and sometimes won't even charge, and because I've passed 6 months of my "1 year warranty", they're saying I have to pay $45 to cover (yeah right) shipping to send it in again. What kind of load of crap is that where they don't tell you your "1 year warranty" sub-expires 6 months in:mad:

well my iPod mini is almost a year old and I haven't had a single problem with the battery. I usually leave it plugged in all the time unless I'm using it.

I still love Apple though.

Yet you can go to BestBuy and just BUY a NEW battery and install it yourself.

Because battery power weaken. Same with cell phones or any other electronic with recharging feature for that matter.

But I got to say this, I had a really bad day:

FUCK APPLE.

I just hope my ipod lasts more than a year. 7 months, so far, so good.

now now bongman, Apple is a great brand, just slightly overpriced. Then again, my iMac cost a little under $2,000, but it came with like 220 GB's of memory and a wide-screen display.

Apple has the best looking products by far, and I guess I'm just a fan of the sleek, modern design. Fuck, you can't even come close to an Apple if you buy one of those microsoft comp's. Buncha suckers falling victim to Bill Gates and his world-wide trap.

Plus, know how many viruses you can get with an Apple computer?

None. I like not having to pay for anti-spyware.

Oh I'm not saying Apple doesn't have great products. They do. My friend has a loaded macbook. What you can do with media with absolutely amazing, my brother's band recorded their songs through a board into his mac, and it produced near-studio quality sound. I simply loathe their business practices and how they treat their customers in regards to the pricing. I'm also mad that the 30 gig IPOD didn't come with a wall charger. :P

I already knew this lol, thats why i never got one. They cost a bomb to get new ones and only apple make em. It's just another way they can make more money, even after they sold the thing

Bollocks, I still have my 1st gen ipod now and it's fine battery dosen't last 12 hours anymore but not far away. Make sure you don't leave it out in the sun or expose it to cold weather because that really harms the batteries... If you take care of it, it should last a long time.
