hey thar, I was given 20 hits by a friendly person and ive only done single hits on a few occasions. My mind opens up quite a bit and theres subtle alterations to my vision but whats a good number of hits to see some really vivid intense shit but still be able to function to a degree in reality? How much longer does the trip tend to be in higher doses?

Well ive never done it myself, but im assuming u should try 1 hit at first, and see how you like it.. if you really love it, take another... Dont take too much tho, or you'll stay high forever.

i usually take 2 or 3 hits and i trip really hard everytime (i talked to a playing card for like 20 mins one time and another time i stared into a pitcher of water for hours lol). 2 hits won't last that much longer than just one hit but the trip will be more intense.

yeah 2-3 is the perfect dose. I'd say 2 if you've only taken one. I took one hit last night of some REALLY good acid and had an insane body high all damn night. I wasn't really seeing too many visuals other than the common light patterns and whatnot. But that one dose was well worth the money, so two is usually perfect.

Everybody needs to stop telling him "3 hits dude!" or 1 hit, etc.

No one here knows how many mcgs are in each "hit" he has.

Just take one, and see..

Averagely it should be between 90-120 mcg, which is pretty mild, but trippy nonethe less, but nothing too crazy.

Again, currently I have blotters, and each hit is said to be around 180 mcg's which is very strong. My supplier confirmed this, then i tried one hit, and would have to agree it is fucking potent.
I did a quarter blotter 3 days later, and i had an n8 hour ride again,
i couldnt believe a quarter blotter could do anything
So, to be safe, just try one, not more than that for the first time.

Report back, then we can estimate the mcg range and give you a better guess on how many hits you want to have a mindblowing but relatively in control experience.


When I say mindblowing, I'm referring to thumbprinting, but that's a whole nother issue.

Most hits i ever did at once was 10 but i don't advise someone to try 10 hits
on a first trip. The visuals were grate at one point i was standing in someone's back yard in a patch of tall grass, the grass began to grow
around me. It was night time so the trees made weird patterns at one point I saw a whole subdivision in the leaf pattern of a tree. I think its best to be outside while tripping fuck that sitting inside watching TV shit.

I do LSD often. Cant you handle 5 hits? It depends on how good the hit is. 2 of really good shit will have you trippin balls, but if its shit it can take up to 5 hits...

I don't know if its just in my area that this is happening, but i haven't been
able to find any good clean acid in about 5 years. The shit I have done here
lately makes my back hurt like hell the next day and I get that greasy speed
feeling like I have a coat of slime on my body while im tripping.

Acid has lost a lot of appeal in the last few years, so the really good manufacturers are getting few and far between. I've noticed the same thing with ecstacy.

Summer festivals always bring out the good acid. I took just one hit on monday night and was pretty fucked up. Now I plan on taking 2 Saturday night b/c it's tooo much fun. It's amazing to see the world whilst tripping. Everyone needs to go out and scour the streets for acid!

I did this much last month with good acid.

It's finally wearing off, the HPPD like symptoms.

Always getting tracers, positive/negative afteraimages for almost 2 minutes after looking at an object.

Just ain't worth it.

Thanks for the advise rajking, but the thing is I most likely won't trip for a while after I take these 2 doses. Okay, well actually I'm going to Wakarusa in less than a week, and plan on tripping 2-3 days, but lol after that I'll be done for a while. That one hit I took on monday was fun, but it wasn't enough to still have me seeing shit the next day. Plus a friend that has never tripped hard plan on dropping 3, so he's bound to be fucked. Since it's not around all too much, I might as well do it while I can, though I might buy a 10 strip at Waka and save it for a rainy day, but other than that, no more tripping for a while.

Yeah I think I have permanently rewired my brain from doing a lot of acid.
A few years ago i would trip about 3 to 4 times a week increasing my
dose every time then go a few days without any and do it all over again.
I did that routine for around 3 years till i had a nervous brake down and
wouldn't come out of my house for about 3 months. Now i get tracers
with out being high on any thing and sometimes i get the effect of walls
breathing like when you are about to really peak on some good acid it has been like this for about 5 years now. I started having a lot of bad trips
before i broke down bad trips suck but they tell you something about
yourself. I think that acid tells you you are doing to much by sending
you into this state of mind. The most visual trip i ever had was a bad
one i saw demons which i think represented how my life was going
at the time. So yes moderation is the key to doing acid and being able
to enjoy it. I still do acid on occasion but if i since myself going back
to the way I was id give it up in a second.

I beleive that LSD does that too. But being stuck that way isnt all that
grate. I have socail anxiety like a mother fucker now. I cannot enjoy
being around other people with out takeing meds now.

ive had exactly that that thought while tripping on acid. its like your mind is open and you can think about anything and everything is so natural.
