Its time to control alt delete the old grow log and start fresh. heres a few pics of my beans in the "time chamber". I've I.D.'ed 2 females so far, theres a pic of one of em, and i'm still not sure about the other 4, though 3 of them are leaning toward male tendencies and 1 of em isnt showing me much, as with everything else I do, I want to be absolutely sure. The seeds I used are little collection I've aquired from all the bags I've found in the past year. They each have somewhat different characteristics and different smells. I have no idea what they are or where they came from, all I know is I never paid more than 60 an oz. I once lived in a city where beans were abundant and cheap. Then I moved somewhere, thats notorious for smoke, yet extremely unreliable. Hence I had to grow my own beans.

Yes, Im in the position man, the grass around is here is good but is only steady for about 2 weeks, but givin to whom I go to I can usually always get my hands on grass. I choose to grow because I like playing god:)
Also those plants are looking great, what are you giving them P-K-N? Looking right healthy.
What kind of lighting are they under and how long have they been vegging for?

10-5-14 maxigro at 1/4 strength for their first nuting only, really jump starts the growth, I used this on my first grow which was a hydro bubbler setup, easy to use
10-2-1 mexican bat guano for vegging 1/3 strength
.5-12-.2 indonesian bat guano for vegging and flowering 1/3 strength, I'll be upping it to full strength soon
2-0-0 Cal Mag Plus, just got it
humus concentrate, i used rainwater to make the mix, then I only use 1 oz. per gallon of water, I use it for every third gallon of water i mix for the beans
Superthrive
2 day old tap water
1 5000k 30w cfl for vegging
1 2200k 150w hps for flowering, next grow will have a better bulb
1 2700k 125w mogul fluorescent for vegging and flowering
2 15w 18" 5000k tube fluorescents for side lighting

this past saturday, I came to the final conclusion that I had 2 females and 4 males. Sooooooo, I decided to repot my females, I figured it was still early enough and I have given them enough high phosphorus guano to handle the transplant. I went from 6" to 8" pots. Also I stapled a screen over the tops and was able to weave the tops in. I placed a resevoir in the box so I can over water my plants without worrying about getting my wires wet.
Yesterday, I started to adjust the weaving on one of the plants when it snapped. Oddly enough, the exact same thing happened on my first grow. After doing some thinking, I made a makeshift pot with a water bottle by cutting it in half, then I made some small holes in the cap. I took the bottom of the water bottle and I cut some holes in it, put the top part of the water bottle and stuck it in the bottom half, filled it with soil/perlite mix and planted the broken top in the soil after soaking it in superthrive. I placed the pot in the resevoir and filled it to a level that was a 1/2" above the overfill tray on the 8" pots, I busted out my air wand and my ole air pump and proceeded to place it around the water bottle so I'm running a hydro/soil setup now. Its gonna be a slow process to root the broken top, if it takes root at all. I know Its best to use some kind of rooting hormone, but I'm broke and I used this method once and it worked. I'll post pics later this week, since I dont want to jinx it. Now if this "clone" makes it, then I'll have a perfect candidate for a mother plant!!
I am not going to continue with the big fluorescent since I dont like the heat it creates, yes I said heat. I would rather go with the heat of the 150w hps and side tubes. :glugglug:

Well, its friday, and its time for some photos, and an update on the progress of my ladies. You'll see how I weaved one baby, another one broke when I tried to adjust it, but it broke right where two nodes had sprouted. The last three days have had phenomenal growth from those 2 nodes and the lower nodes are reaching for the screen. The same thing happened on my last grow. On my untopped plant the main node has really thickened up and some side nodes have really opened up. My best guess is the addition of the air pump has really helped the grow, sort of put it into another gear. Now the broken top seems to be coming along alright, i'm gonna try to get me some wood for my ole grow box, this weekend, I wanna separate it from the flowering plants after sunday and put it into veg, if I cant get the materials, I'll just put it into a corner in my closet and put my 30w flo on it. the clone was in pretty bad shape when it broke, I let it sit for about an hour as I thought about what to do with it, so what you see is about a 100% improvement from what it was. If she makes it, she'll hopefully be the mother of many clones.

Heres some pics of my in-flower ladies. Compare the first photo in the last post to the first one in this post, It floored me today when I opened up the time machine. theres some preflowers showing on one of the pics, you can barely make em out, but their there. the fourth pic shows the second set of nodes on the topped plant reaching for the screen.

After I took the last set of pics I decided to LST the ladies, its helping expose the other bud sites to more light and keeping the top from getting to close to the "heat zone" of the hps, the last two pics show the difference in the ladies.

I've finally got the last 18" ww fluorescent I wanted for my box. I forgot I had a 55w 2700k so I put in my mogul to medium adapter and screwed it into the fixture I had my big 125w flo in. So now I'm running 265 watts of light. The scrog LST and air wand have really put this grow into overdrive.

Heres some pics. As you can tell I scrogged and LST'd as much as I could on my "sativa". The stretching is slowing a bit, but i'm keeping a close eye on em. The "indica" has made significant progress since I topped it accidently. I figured the top broke off when I tried to bend it some more cause it had started to slow down and harden off, it did show sex sooner than the "sativa". The pistils on the "indica" are a bit stubbier and stout than those of the "sativa", which are thin and wispy. I plan on mounting some computer fans on the light fixures, so I can have some air blowing across the top

And here we have some pics of my clones, the first one has taken root and has been transplanted. I have it under my 30w 5000k bulb which is running 24/0. The second one is still about a week away from transplanting.

I put some aluminum tape on my 18" tube fluorescent to give it a little more reflectivity and i threw in some clone pics. the second one has been transplanted and the first one is showing some good looking growth.

Heres some buddys:smokin:
The last minute scrog and LST sure opened up a bunch of budsites. The foliage is like a little jungle. Some of the lower nodes are still stretching to the light and showing nice little flowers. The change to all fluorescents has helped the overall health of the subjects. The heat created by the hps was a little too much for my current setup, but theres still future possibilitys for that. Now there are some crispy tips on some of the tops, but it has not hampered their overall health. Just keeping em close like the experts say.

Well, its sure been awhile, or it just seems that way, but anyways, just thought I'd let you all know how my grow finished. It came in way under my expectations but, I considered it just something to learn from once again. This was my first soil grow, and I made alot of little mistakes that caused the demise of my ladies. My first plant that flowered never got close to finishing, and did not stop stretching. It was burned purty good. I took her out of the cab and put her in my closet while i thought about what to do with her. After about a week or so went by I added some height to my old cab and put it in closet and stuck the plant in there, I watered her and let her sit in there for a week. the light schedule was 12/12. After the week passed I checked on her and she had some new vegetation. I took some cuttings and put them in my bubbler setup. They're thriving so thats a plus, though they may herm on me, but its a chance i'm willing to take in the name of science. My second female was not fattening up, as well as it should have. This plant had a bunch of budsites that i think may have been to much for her to handle, since i only had it in an 8" pot, lst'ing works very well. Plus I have my box in my garage, and no elaborate ventilation to keep it cool. Oh well, I aint quitting anytime soon, and I still have some plants left, my 2 clones and my recent additions. I dont have any left that I started from seed, a sitution I never envisioned would be happening so soon, in my limited experience, but, I'll take it!

alrighty buds, heres a progress report of my current clones, I took five cuttings about 24 days ago, I have since pared it down to 2. I wanted the best 2 to put into flower. the first pic is the cuttings, the last two are the current candidates. I'm planning on putting them in flower wednesday, I'll problaly just add a 42w 27k flo, or stick em under my 125. If you havnt noticed by now, I'm using my first box again, I redid the back added 6 inches in height also. I put it in my closet. since its way cooler than my garage. :)

alrighty, just a few pics of my old cab with the extension I put on it. Its still a work in progress, (does it end?) but I went a little crazy. When this box reaches its potential, it will make a nice compliment to my other box, which is running a little cooler with a new thermaltake fan. I decided to put my 150w hps in the box to test out the temps in my closet. Needless to say, the hps generated plenty of heat to cause some concern for the plants. I put a computer fan close to the ceiling of my closet and it has reduced the heat considerably, so I'm happy with that. I put a fan blowing directly on the reflector and socket which has kept it cool to the touch. I believe this would benefit greatly If I bulid some kind of cool tube, or just some kind of glass and fan setup. Something else to obsess over. The next step is to put some fans in the box for some circulation in the box. I did get a couple of singed leaves but I had it too close to the light, other than that, the subjects are doing quite well. I will post pics of the ladies at the end of the week, heres some of my box, ballast and fans.:stoned:

heres some pics folks, the first three show the happy growing clones, the fourth is a slight mod I made to my reflector I bent and drilled it so I could mount my lamp horizontally. Its given it better light and heat dispersal, so I raised the bubble tub closer to the light. the last photo shows a preflower on the right plant, oh I put em in 12/12 on the 28th. I'm trying to somewhat replicate my firts grow only with a 150w hps this time.

I was strolling around goodwill the other day, looking for something, mostly inspiration, when I came across this glass serving tray or pie tray, and it struck me that I could somehow bolt this to my setup. Frankly the hps scares the shit out of me, I have a phobia about it blowing up in my face. I put four screws and washers around the glass to fasten it. I allowed some space so it could hang a bit and allow air to pass between the light and glass. It came out pretty sturdy and with no slippage between glass and screws. My two hydro clones are growing like crazy, they have more than doubled in height since they went 12/12. They've definitely put on another 3 inches since friday. Hence I needed to do something about the heat from the bulb. I'll be mating the reflector with a fan eventually, to further cool it down.:rasta:

That was a good idea with the glass trey, just hope that it's heat treated, but who knows it may not make a difference. When I read the first log I was wondering why you didn't use bigger pots, but you learn from exp I guess. I always like reading a detailed log, keep it up.

Hello buds, got some pics for ya and some more follies and adventures for you this week. Where shoud I start, hmm, well, I'm gonna have to find another cab to put my bubble clones in, due to them out growing the box. The addition of the glass plate has helped lower temps in the box, so thats a plus, also its made of pyrex, forgot to mention that in my last post. The clones themselves have shown to be extremely resilient and vigorous. The both of them are now 33" in height. I added a really half ass extension that I fucking hate, so I decided to find something else to put them in......again. Gonna try to find some thing around 4 to 5 feet in height, 6 would be choice. The 1st pic is a group shot which does not show the whole plants, the second pic is a closeup of the left plant(tiamat), the third is the right plant(ghidrorah). The fourth is the crappy extension which is basically a drawer with the bottom taken out, the fifth is a "down" shot. cactus out.

just thought i'd let ya'll know, i will be destroying my plants soon, and hanging up my growing cleats for awhile. better lights, nutes, and equipment doesnt necesarliy equal a better grow. genetics make a huge difference. I am so turned off with my last grows, I havnt smoked in close to a month, so i'm not craving or even thinking about weed, i'm also starting a new job and i dont feel like paying any more attention to these bitches anymore. these plants have not stopped stretching at all, and they are taking forever to finish and quite frankly I dont want to do this for awhile. I know I could problaly order some 'high' quality fast finishing seeds, but its something I wont even go into. I do not like risking my life for some beans, and its a chance I will 'NEVER' take regardless of what anyone thinks or says. If by chance I could find someone locally, I would reconsider, just not now. thanks to all who have stopped by my little logs for a gander or two. I will still be coming around the boards and posting, just not growing for now. This was a surprisingly easy decision to make believe it or not. Thanks to all, and dont give up on ya'lls grows. I'll be growing in spirit with youse guys, laters, cactus out.

Good grow mang.

i had a slight change of plans for my little clones. I'll just say they live........for now. the other plants went peacefully. the reservoir was full of roots and then some, (possible reason for crazy stretch). the deceased plants were still developing shoots like crazy, couldve taken some clones, but i didnt. the little clones came from an actual mother plant that i had. I'll problaly start some seeds when i feel like it, just to find a suitable female, for cloning purposes. I want her to be vigorous and branchy and low maintenance. I've got my cloning technique down purty good, now to get my finishing technique just as good. like the title says, I couldnt let it go entirely. The roots on the clones hadnt started poking through the plastic basket yet so i saw it as a chance to move them into something that wont allow it to develop as big a root system, like 20 oz. water bottles with the tops cut off and a bunch of holes poked in the bottom, I put a mix of perlite and peatmoss with a lttle soil, for micronutes, in the bottles and placed the coco cups in the bottles, roots were starting to poke out the bottom of the coco cups. When the roots fully engulf the bottles the only way to sustain them would be to constantly supply oxygen to them with an air wand, which is running 24/7. I'll keep ya'll posted on their progress. No pics for awhile, I'm feeling superstitious. Ha!

well guys, I scored me a good bag of some piney compressed stuff, and i'm fooking ripped, ahhhh, just what I needed. I was impressed enough with my score, that i'm gonna use the seeds to find my special lady. The buds were huge and seedy, but not to the point that the seeds entirely took all the bud, which is a plus and the buds are full of red hairs. The bud wasnt compressed to the point of it being a brick, so the seeds are very usable. I'm definitely gonna keep these separate from my other seeds. I've only kept seeds separate one other time, and dont know what I did with those other seeds:o
my current grow is going fine, the roots are already filling up their little bottles and their starting their stretch, where they finish they're stretch, is the main concern. I'll keep ya'll posted, I have the babys under 10,000 lumens of 27k fluorscents and my resevoir has superthrive, earthjuice, and a little calmag for nutes.

just checked my patients and they're thriving in their little pots, growing like weeds. The roots are developing all the way down to the bottom of the 'pots', about 2" below the water line. I have switched to air stones from the air wand I had previously.
I have noticed some 'suspicious' growths on these patients, i will be keeping an eye or two on them.
I also threw a bean in a pot, something I want to work on. I problaly would get way better chances if i throw more but i want to take it slow and study it a bit. dont know why. oh well.

hey people, just to give an update, my flowering ladies are still alive and doing well. I've been pretty busy lately, and havnt had much time to get on the boards. I'm looking to this friday to post some pics. just to let ya'll know, my ladies did stretch quite a bit, but not at the rate and height of my previous "jungle". I managed to put a screen over them and bend them over quite a bit. I'm gonna keep weaving and tying the developing nodes through the screen to maximize bud potential.

heres a photo of my seedling, its recovering from some crispy leaves, I was vegging it 24/0 with a 55w 2700k cfl. I've finally got around to putting a timer on it and I got a fan circulating the air around the cab. I found my long lost vegging light today, so I changed the bulb. Its a 30w 5000k cfl. It runs cooler than the 55w and gives it a way better color for vegging. Oh, i've switched my lighting schedule to 18/6. One more thing I found today, was the seeds I set aside, from my very first grow.

Heres some bonus pics, this grow is coming along very well. The stretch and internodal growth wasnt as wild as the previous grow, which overwhelmed my little box. The use of the bottles as pots, and the addition of the screen really helped tame these wild girls. I'm not sure what my yield will be when all is said and done, but I'm hoping its ready for at least a new years puff. The last two pics are the tops of the lowest nodes. They are about 14" below the screen. They look pretty good for not getting the amount of light as the top buds.

After last weeks photo session, I decided to go ahead and remove the fluorescents and go with my 150w hps. I had come into possesion of an air cooled hood awhile back, so I decided to give it a go. The fan cooling the hood is a 130 cfm axial fan. The hps has really thickened up the buds, and the hood is way better than my homemade setup. The heat and light are dispersed much more efficiently.

Happy to report that my buds are drying nicely and about 2 days away from going into jars for some curing. I think its very important to cure the bud nicely, especially badseed surprise. I will be smoking some for new years eve though. The buds seem to be retaing alot of their density, and are nice and compact, even the 'popcorn'. I'm very happy with my results. Oh, abbatoir, I have the buds drying in a ventilated cabinet with a homemade carbon scrubber.

Heres a pic of a male plant. I had to backtrack through this thread, to get an idea of when I started this plant and I'm going to assume I planted the seed to this one about 10/1/2006. I kept up very little with this plant since I started it. I remember starting this dude in a pot with previously used soil that had also sprouted a male. As the months progressed this poor guy suffered from obvious ph problems, and also didnt like being watered much. When I decided to repot it about 2 months ago, I put it in a 3 gallon bag about half full with soil and topdressed it with lime pellets(all I could find). The lime helped big time with the ph and supplemental magnesium and calcium and the grow bag let it drain off alot better. The plant began to show some vigor and life and I wasnt too sure of the preflowers. About 2 weeks ago I decided to go lights out for 3 days and then resume in 11/13, till it began to show sex. When I checked it a few days ago it was definitely showing its balls and I wanted to let it continue. When I checked today, it had really developed the sacks, so I decided to take some pics and write a little story. This dude will be meeting his fate soon.
What I can gather from the past couple of months about this plant, is that its a tough hombre, a very light feeder, very low odor, no mutant resin production. Now I havnt grown a whole lot of plants in my time but from what I can tell, the only redeeming quality this male may have is that it didnt stretch much, the only stretch was the dong on top and that was it. Oh well, that was another good learning experience. I've been fortunate in the last couple of months that I have scored some good bags of weed with some seeds in em that I have set aside for my next grow which I'll be starting........NOW! Laters buds!

helo buds, just thought i'd let ya'll in on what i've been up. A few weeks back i started some bagseeds in some makeshift pots, well since then i've transplanted some into 10" pots and growbags. some of the transplants didnt make it and those that did, suffered. but i'll continue with them to see what comes of them. since i had a little room in my new cab to put some other stuff, i decided to start a little bubble hydro setup again along with the soil. heres some pics of what the cab looks like. I'm just gonna go with 12/12 lighting schedule from start to finish, no vegging. I'll explain my latest hydro bubble setup in my next reply. Oh and I have a nice 400w hps now in my air cooled hood, just need a slightly stronger fan to cool that bad boy off. I also repositioned my fan, so I can raise my hood higher.

heres my little bubble setup, I use the bottoms of my 6 inch pots to line the bottom of my 3 gallon tub. the bottoms of the pots make good "channels" for the air stones. I didnt have any hydroton to fill the bottom of my pots like I wanted to and I didnt want to get any at the moment. so I filled the bottoms of the pots with about 1 inch of perlite, that helps get plenty of oxygen to the roots. then I'm using a really airy mixture of potting soil and perlite as my medium. 3 to 1 perlite to soil. and i'm starting with tap water with superthrive, and once the medium has soaked up some water i'll drop in some seeds and wait for something to happen. I've never ph'ed any of my grows, but I plan on getting a tester soon. and there you go, now lets hope for a girl or 3

I opened up my cab yesterday and to my surprise, there they were. 2 seedlings from my hydro had sprouted and 1 had not yet and my soil plants turned out males. 3" male plants. They were stinky little shits to boot. I should have taken pics but I just didnt. Oh well. With the extra room in the cab, I put in another bubble setup with some seeds my wife and I called "creeping death". The first bubble setup has some seeds from a bag of some reddish sticky bud, that had a nice taste and high. We havnt come up with a name for that one yet.

Alrighty folks, I finally got my ph kit in and let me tell you, it surely has opened my eyes to another whole aspect of growing. Both of my tubs tested around the 8.5 to 9 range. I added one tsp. of ph down to each tub. I'm going to retest later in the day, so as to give it some time to adjust. In the meantime, I decided to run a rough test of what my ph is from the tap. What I got was about a 6.5. Now this is based purely on what I perceive to be a match to the color chart. After adding one tsp. of superthrive I retested the ph, and found it to be about 7.25-7.5. I proceeded to add two tbsp. of mother earth bloom tea and tested again and I gathered this one to be about 7-7.25. With Cal Mag plus added the ph tested about 7. For each test I used three drops of ph test fluid. Before I put up my testing stuff, I decided to test one more time after adding one tsp of ph down. The solution tested at 5.75-6. Strong stuff. I wont test the solution again till I have to use it, which will be awhile. Oh before I forget, I used a gallon of water.

heres my only babies, my chances are slim of getting a female, but, oh well. I've been vegging these with my 400w enhanced hps. It's pretty cool. They're nice and short and very nody. I like the fat leaves.

OK, just a little update for the buds, my 2 3 week old subjects are useless males. They are somewhat smelly and sticky though, I've already destroyed one of the subjects in my blender. I'm trying my hand at hash making. I'm gonna do some searching regarding pollen storage, this looks like some decent genetics to work with. STAY POSITIVE BITCHES.

just dropping in to say whats up. I am currently doing absolutely nothing with my cabs, though, they are in a semi ready state. Just waiting and plotting my return.

here's two little 2 week old seedlings, and I've just popped four more beans in the bubbler setup, hoping for females, temps have been really good, I had some ph problems at the beginning, but i've since resolved that. I have this in my "little" cab. Its way more stealthy than my big cab, which btw, is still being worked on, nothing elaborate, just some ventilation and filtration stuff.

Well, heres another plant, which I believe is showing female tendencies but may herm. When I started my previous 2 plants on their 11/13 light schedule, this one was about a week or two old, so its had an early blooming period along with a week of 14/10 under my 400w enhanced hps. It seemed to split itself without me topping or accidently breaking off the top. Its developing some nice node sites. I'm going back to bloom with this one tomorrow and if it shows to be a female, I'll definitely be taking some clones.

Well, i had some guests over for the last few days and i wasnt able to check on my babies until today. When I last checked my baby she was looking like a lady, so I took some cuttings and put in em a bubbler with a little superthrive. After my guests had taken their leave, I immediately checked my ladies since it was close to lights off for my main flowering plant. I wasnt able to get a photo in time, but my main lady is flowering nicely, woohoooo! The cuttings are a little small but they're looking good and progressing nicely through the rooting process. If all progresses well, I will put two of the clones in flower and keep one as a mother plant. I will be making slight mods to my cabs, and when I get a chance I will post some pics.

Just some pics, she seems to be stretching an inch a day, shes got some nice dense foliage. She is at the moment 16 inches. The air cooled hood allows me to put the light close to the tops, even with the slight tilt. This is the first baby that I will flower with my enhanced 400w hps. Every plant I've thrown under this light has shown some great alternating nodes, even though they were all males.

One thing about using 3" net pots is there is not a whole of stability with the plant when it stretches beyond a foot, now that my baby has surpassed the 2' mark and has many side nodes, I had to add a little mod to help stabilize my lady. I wouldnt want to open my box oneday and find her fallen over with broken roots.

An update of my clones. The mother plant they came from was not finishing well, so I ended it. I changed my reservoir setup to these 2 gallon buckets and the seem to be doing the trick. My previous setup seemed to be overwhelmed by the plant. I cut off alot of side nodes so the plant can focus more of its energy on the nodes I kept. Theres a pic as well of my work in progress 5 gallon LST project.

This is my latest project, it needs some more finishing work, like a fan and an odor masker or eliminator of some sort, but I like it. I have cut down one plant to dry, once it is ready, the other plant will come down, then I can get another clone going.

some pics, the jar is the first plant dried and now curing, 2oz. The buds retained alot of the density, which i'm guessing is the result of the hid light.

Well, I'm starting to get that itch again, personal matters kept me from continuing where I left off, so I'm starting from scratch again. My boxes are in a semi ready state but that can quickly be resolved. I will have to start my search again for a suitable mother plant, since I had to kill my last one, I'm considering placing my first order with a seedbank, dr. chronic, seedboutique seem like the best choices. I know reaper will say joey seeds, which is an excellant choice as well. Since its summer, I'm problaly gonna go fluorescent all the way through for temperature reasons.

just recieved 20 ww seeds from cannabisseeds. com. Put 2 in the dirt to see if they are viable. Will post updates when and if these beans start boiling. I still plan to order from another company, k. c. brains seeds seem like interesting strains to mess with, just havent pinned down the distributor I want to go with.

Well, heres my little comeback attempt, so to speak, I planted 4 seeds and so far I've had one pop. This is supposedly feminized white widow, so I hope my little cab can provide me with some nice fluoro buds in time. I'm using regular 6" soil pots with the water trays removed and some extra holes drilled near the base. The medium is hydroton with a peat starter. My trustly old pump and wand are doing their thing in the 2 gallon bucket. I just placed the starter pellet in the dwc setup today, so once the seedling takes root I certainly hope the bubbles will crank up the growth.

Heres a pic of my baby with my crappy cameraphone. I changed the nute solution yesterday, and she seems happier. She seems to have anchored herself sideways in the starter plug. I was using my fan as an intake, filling the box with air and creating a positive air pressure. I have since turned it into an exhaust fan and preparing a mod to make it an odor masker as well. Now I have negative air pressure in my box. I've also added an extra fan inside the box itself (not pictured) to blow on the bulb and seedling. The cfl doesnt get too hot, but the fan blowing on it makes a difference for overall temp control, and the gentle breeze gives the seedling just enough circulation and movement to help build a strong stalk. I have since changed out my trustly old air wand for a 5" airstone. The airstone give greater aeration to the nute solution, it looks like boiling water in my bucket, just what I wanted.

Just an update of the progess of my young lady. I'll be switching to my big flo next week. After one more week of vegging, after the switch, I'll be switching to a 12/12 light schedule, then on to budville, hopefully.

Here's this weeks photo of my little plant, I turned on my big fluorescent and started her on some mild bloom nutes and superthrive. I have yet to start ph'ing my reservoir yet, I'll problaly start tomorrow or something. Just an fyi, after the seedling had sprouted its first little set of leaves, I gave it a very mild nitrogen shot and some superthrive to start it on its way, up until that it was plain tap water.

just a quick update with some nicer photos. I added a bit more hydroton to my setup and added more water to my reservoir. The pic of the hydroton shows the bubbles "boiling" my plant.

Well, here it goes, I've since put my topped plant in bloom for about a week already and she's beginning her stretch, I lowered my bucket to the floor of my cab so as to allow her to reach for the stars. Anyways, I pulled out my old screen and decided to mount it at somewhat of a 45 degree angle. The lady is branching out rather nicely, so I want to try weaving the taller colas down the slope so to speak and weaving the lower relevant side nodes up. Whatever side nodes I dont use will hopefully be used as clones. Just trying something different with my limited dimensions and my 125w mogul flo. :hippy:Unfortunately, at the moment I cannot provide pics since my camerphone is broken and my wifes camera is a closely guarded secret.:wtf:
