I've never bought one, but was given two when a temp. service assigned me to C.B.N. (Christian Broadcasting Network) for a couple months.

I was given three Bibles as a baby so they're quite special to me.

I have several; like fourteen different translations and I'm about to buy another KJV binded in goatskin for my mother. ;) (Birthday present)
There's just as much 'good stuff' in there as there is nonsense, imo. I enjoy reading it also...

I've burried a couple, but never burned one, lol!
Anymore, they just don't hold enough power to entice me to even put in the effort. ;)
Good reading, though....

God could you plz help people understande there own GREED and learn who you really are by reading the Bible. Once everyone understands that this world today and our miger lives are due to Satan's own GREED , he wants to be God and this world is needed to prove that Satan can;t rule all of mankind and his way of Greed is Wrong.
Look at today and relize whats differnt.. we are conected world wide for the 1st time EVER, tech will be Satan's True World Power. Read the Bible and get to know God

Thats going to be an interesting tree.. I think you planted the antichrist
I always keep a (desecrated) bible around for reference.
Revelations is some good cryptic prophecy that i like to read from time to time.

I've never owned a Bible, although I've been tempted to by one so I can look up obscure references people keep quoting at me. I don't think I could ever burn a Bible, firstly it's just as easy to say "fuck you" to the evangelists, and above all else, I love reading, and couldn't actually bring myself to burn a book.

The best book I ever read.
I do not follow popular Christianity as a religion. I am a follower of Christ Jesus, God incarnate. We are a small minority. The scum of the earth are the one's who followed Him. The poor outcast oppressed people. The religous leaders had Him killed, but that was His plan to begin with. To die for His followers so that they could be forgivin and spend eternity with Him.
The Bible contains the oldest records on earth. From the time God first created life, including the creation of the first cannabis plants. It prepares those who study it for life, death, and the end of the earth. Spend enough time inbetween those pages and you will begin to know God.

Why do people find more legitimacy in followers of this character from a book Jesus Christ than from, say, Timothy Leary? I think that is shit.

Timothy Leary wrote some books and was a shrink. Jesus made the heavens, the earth, and life and was God. He also made Timothy Leary.
Where's the legitimacy in following a man rather than the one who made men?
