Need help with plants

My plant at a friends house in texas. I have a plant and It just rained and tha plants shade leafs are turning yellow but the little tiny leafs at the top and in the little junctions are pretty green but the shade leafs are yellow is it gonna die and what can I do to make it better

no fert. outside dirt in texas its growing outside so it should bud itself buy oct. sept.
