today (4/19) my school had drug dog searches of the cars in the parking lots.
Tomorrow (4/20) there will be a locker search.

I would think that a school searching lockers on a day like 4/20 would be a bit too obvious. No one would bring anything to school on that day obviously, and if they did, boy do they deserve whatever they get.

I say there should be a law made against searching lockers and cars for drugs using dogs when there is no reasonable suspicion... since when the hell do they have the right to do this?!

It's their property, or rather the state's, so it's their rules, sadly. They can do almost anything they want, including keeping their schools drug-free.

Tip of the day:

When the school announces that searches for drugs and other contraband will happen on a specific date, don't bring anything to school with you that day and make sure you don't have anything already there that shouldn't be there.

If this concept eludes you, then...well...I can't help you.
