I got 3 different kinds of soil today. The rest of what I'll be needing, I'll get next week. I'll be using 15 liter pots for growing this season and will be only growing 3 plants in the backyard this season.

looks nice dutchy. how come you are using pots when you got that nice raised bed? Is it because you want them out in the open to get more sun?

Cheers. I had to make a new bed for the strawberry plants first. It's an old strawberry patch. I usually grow in pots, but because of the weather, still abit cold. I put them outside in the day time and at night inside. Until it's okay to leave them outside on their own. But for now...

how many plants are you aloud to grow outside in amsterdam
?

Your allowed to grow 5 plants outside. But some people take the risk of growing more than what is tolerated...
I will be growing 3 here, but I'll on the Balcony I'll have a few more....
Anyways, here are the clones I'll be using, Santa Maria...

Is there any way to tell if the plant is a male or female before budding it?

Earthy Dank
04-20-2006, 02:13 AM
It doesn't show sex until it nears 12 hours light/12 darkness... You can do it indoors with timers but you'll have to wait until late july if you are outdoors. July in the US anyways...

I look forward to seeing the final product Dutchy. I wish you the best of luck.

P.S.--I was wondering if you could help me with a question I have. I am growing outdoors and for my soil mixture I used compost, miracle grow organic, blood and bone meal, epsonsalt, sand, chicken manure, and green sand. My question is whether or not this mixture will be too hot for my little seeds to handle. The average temperature in my area is mid to high 70's now and mid to low 90's in summer. Any help you give will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

And besides the weather here in Holland hasn't been great the last couple weeks, not like Burbank. That's where your from?
Anyways here's a few pictures of them now. I haven't been using any fertilzers yet. I'll start on that this week. Just need more sun...

I would like to take a guess on what the white things are on dutchys soil, that is if you dont mind dutchy.

I do believe its Vermiculite. Correct me if Im wrong.

Dutchy, they're looking great, and by the end of the summer I think you'll have achieved more 3-4 meter plants haha, I believe even more since you havent even fed them yet.

Goodluck mate, will stick around to see this go down.

Well it been very bad weather here almost the last two weeks.
Grey, Rain and. Finally a bit of sun today, but for how long?
Started today with the fertilzer. Canna Terra Vega. It's a N.P.K. of 14-6-17. For a better root development. For now......

Hey dutchy. I hate it when bad weather comes along, I have 4-5 plants outside and my other mate planted 4-5 of his 5 meters from my crop. I would most love to do an outdoor grow log but I have no digital camera.

Are you buying your products from a local grow shop or from a website, if your grow shop has a website and sends basic nutes, etc to canada I would much love too see it. Ill be watching this thread dutchy and be following in your footsteps, you're an amazing grower, non the less all your posts of the weed and hash you get, Im suprized you dont have lung cancer;):rasta:

sorry about the totally nooob question but i live in the uk and i would like to try growing some plants (i heard NL is a good beginner type) but roughly what woul be the right season in the uk (pls dont say i missed it lol)
and is there any chance of it even surving oustide in the uk (with the crap weather being a main feature of the island) and if Northen lights isnt a good strain to try outside what would be better... thank you for any advice.
