need to keep me plants short

i need to now the best way to keep my plant as short as it can. ive heard people talking about LST test or something and as bout pinching. can someone tell me how to do this please.

there is a product that will keep your plants SHORT.. a chemical product..
i forget the naem

it is EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!
like $100 dollars for a small bottle.. it is for hydro and aeroponic grows.. but I bet you could use it outside

plus I dont fuck with stuff that stunts growth..
