Seems like it's kind of expensive to go to Amsterdam, is there an alternative?

That would be excellent, I could just drive there.

I was reading about the proposed farming and distribution system that Nevada will have if it passes, that'll be great. Although I wonder how the feds will react to it? If they go in and arrest farmers and distributers some shit is bound to hit the fan, I mean Las Vegas is a bunch of mobsters and whatnot.

I definitely wouldn't mind living in Vegas, and if they legalize there I may have to move there, and maybe farm weed.

Didn't they do something in Denver?

Denver legalized up to an oz, just for posession I think, but the local law enforcement isn't honoring the law, so the law is organized crime. Nevada will have a farming, distribution, and taxation system, so you'll be able to legally buy it. This is very different than than Denver law, as far as I can see.

I see. Hmm...I bet this weed would trickle out to the rest of the country too. They're not going to set up DEA checkpoints all over the Nevada border, are they?

How the feds try to deal with it is going to be interesting, I bet we see some CNN breaking news because of this. But Nevada is going to put a $45 tax on each ounce, so they are definitely going to want to sell a lot to make some nice tax revenue.

$45 tax? That's ridiculous. People are just going to keep getting it off the black market.

Yeah the tax is way too high :D However, perhaps they will be growing some extremely high-grade stuff, this is Vegas we're talking about after all.

$45 dollar tax may sound high, but does anyone know what theyll be selling oz's for?

I doubt anyone will know until after the law passes, if it passes. But until it's legal somewhere else in the US, probably about as much as where it's illegal.

yes that is also what i had heard. what i want to know is how you can get any if it is still illegal to sell it and be seen with it in public. i mean the only way to get it is through illegal means, but once you have it its legal, that makes sense........
that was my understanding anyway:stoned:

Yeah it seems that if they don't provide a legal way to obtain it, then legalizing it is pointless, aka Denver.
