Here I sit, been sober as a judge for 6 weeks due to job hunting and possible pre-employment screening. (ok, so I've indulged my penchant for red wine a few times but less than a bottle a week) Wasn't much around anyway. Friend emailed yesterday and says the eagle has landed so I picked up a quarter tonight. But I can't smoke it until after I get a new job.
When oh when will they learn how much money is being pissed away on pre-employment screening? And you know these costs are being passed on to comsumers everywhere...aka vous and moi.

looks like were in the same boat. ive been sober for 3 days straight. im planning on being clean since im graduating from college soon and im going to get drug tested for interviews. im dying to smoke right but i still got 3-6 months to go. ahhh, whats worse is that i hate drinking alcohol so i have no way of getting messed up.

Thanks for the support folks. And yes, even my tolerance will be pretty much gone by the time I get to fire up The Bone again. For those of you who don't know...The Bone is a pipe that a friend made for me from mule deer antler over 25 years ago at a ranch in Montana. Another friend named it about 10 or 12 years ago. I had given it to him as a gift but he felt bad after a couple years and decided to give it back.

I'm riding the no weed boat as well. I haven't a clue as towhen the next time I'm going to smoke is, could be four years or as many as twenty. The military frowns upon partaking in baking

Had a second interview today at a place that would be a pretty good gig for me.
And I keep looking at that 1/4 I'm sitting on and thinking...son of a bitch I hate these drug screening nazi's...last time I smoked was Jan 13...this sucks.

I've been breaking for about 6 weeks now so I don't think I'll have to worry about passing a wee test. I have taken breaks as long as 6 months in my illustrious 31yr career, some voluntary and some not so voluntary like now.
And what makes you think I actually want to have contact with you? I'm not like that...happily married and all that. Thanks for the boost though. You too Haze, I'll make it. I have to.
