Anyone know about growing tobbaco?

I've been thinking lately that I would like to try growing my own tobbaco, Is it possible to do in a way that it isnt a big hassle while producing quality tobbaco? Any info would be appreciated, any idea on how much a single plant yields? actually I just found a useful site http://www.ryomagazine.com/july/review.htm
