I find it sad that one can get busted for mearly smoking a joint or pocketing some cough syrup.. meanwhile the assholes that go around beating people senseless for stupid ass reasons, walk freely among us.

I wish you kids would come and talk to me before you decide to do stupid shit like this. If you feel the need to get high so badly that you'll resort to stealing cough syrup, what's next...Sterno? You might want to talk to a councilor about that. And how many times do I have to repeat myself...stay the hell away from man made drugs...they are just bad for you all around.

Ok...fatherly duty done...odds are that hipestoner is correct unless your state has enacted some newer laws regarding shoplifting and drugs that might fall under the same category as stealing sudafed to make meth. Some of those new regulations are pretty inclusive and broad and cover a lot more over the counter drugs that aren't related to meth in any way. Politicians are so stupid sometimes. Especially if it's your first offense.
