i found a plastic pipe, well i think it could be used a s a pipe, its from my dads home brewing kit, brewing beer/wine, and i think it could work. my main question is will the plastic get too hot and melt and give off toxic fumes??? cheers osso!

Not a good idea. The plastic will give off toxic fumes.

Ya, not a good idea to use plastic man. The flame will melt it and you will be inhaling plastic fumes. By my guess, probably isn't that good. :p

Use metal for pipes. Has to be kind of thick metal or it will get too hot to hold. Or glass, clay, ceramic, or, you can use a plastic pipe or bong, just make sure you use a metal bowl and NO plastic starts melting.

Yeah, the inside of the plastic will probably also have a chemical coating from when it was produced and that will burn off aswell with the heat of the smoke.

you could put tin foil over the bowl head but i still wouldnt keep the lighter on it to long

yeh cheers guys i didnt use it in the end, i just rolled the reefa's, me and m8 played a few games of pro evo soccer 5 and watched Green Street Hooligans. god night had by all.
