!! NEED ADVICE ABOUT PARENTS !!

Well this is another one of those threads.. Im 13 turning 14 in may and i want to tell my parents. Heres the story, they grow it and been smoking it for their whole life. Me and my mum talk about it all the time but she is very much against poeple around my age group smoking pot (even though she does). I get good grades and all and it hasnt changed me at all. Ive only been smoking it for 2 - 3 months but i plan on doing it every weekend and some weekdays. What should i do? Should i wait till' i turn 14 or just tell her sometime when shes in a good mood. I've been caught drinking before and one when I was 11, I smoked some hell old leaves from the growroom in scetching paper:rasta: and she caught me, was totally pointless. So please tell me what i should do????:confused: :confused:

You're only 13 almost 14 man. Enjoy your childhood before you get heavy into smoking. I mean no offense, but you should reconsider until you're atleast 16 or so. If you think that you're mature enough (because I know maturity blossoms at different ages for everyone) then proceed with caution smoking around your parents. This could be the only possible problem I can envision them having about you enjoying the same thing they do.

If you want to go about telling them that you plan on smoking anyway, then look at it like this: They are either cool with it and possibly set some limitations on your use. Or you get in trouble and they keep an eye on you or something. Getting in trouble eventually will pass. You have a 50/50 chance of getting things how you want them. Your odds wont get much better than that in my opinion.

First, I agree with robert42 - Chill! Serrously!

Second, if you want to tell them, lay it all out. Explain that you've been smoking for a few months and show them that it has had no negative effects on your schoolwork. Perhaps an agreement that if your marks start slipping you would stop smoking would be a good gesture.

Ask your mom to explain to you exactly why she thinks it's a bad idea for someone your age to be smoking. If you understand the reasons behind her take on things, you'll be in a better position to soothe her worries and possibly make agreements that will keep your parents happy and you tokin'.

Agree'd.. Your younger years are the one thing in life that you can't wait to get out of.. but miss when they're gone.
I regret not being able to enjoy my childhood to the full extent..but that's another story.

the longer you can wait before you smoke again gods honest it will be better, i started at 14 wish i didnt i cant really remember much of those days, every year you wait the less risks you are taking with your mind and you can get to know who you are alot better when you get older, also id say the younger you get into it the more likely youll go for harder drugs as u get older as happened 2 alot of people i kno
but its up to u really, and its hard having 2 choose since u must of been attracted to it because of your parents.
oh yeh the key point i forgot to mention is how much you smoke, i used 2 smoke everyday at 14 but if you kept it to weekends then u are sorted mate

I have a son and in my opinion I would listen if he came and made a case fro his cause.I would highlight the positive things such as your good grades etc..NEVER play the fact she smokes.Present your case without being emotional and I bet she will listen...

I think if you sit down and raise some intelligent points that'll they'll probably understand. Mention that you're still doing well in school and socially. That way they think it isn't hindering your maturity or intelligence. Just tell them it's something you do in your spare time and it isn't your number one priority.

Ok, I'm old enough to be your Mom's mom. I've been smoking for a couple months shy of 40 years. Your parents are not going to be happy with your smoking pot. They are going to worry about the reports that state the younger you are when you begin smoking pot, the more likely you are to have problems. I think you will have to bargain with your parents--good grades and only on weekends at home, would be good things for you to promise. They will worry that away from your home, one of your friends will pull a bone-head stunt and get you arrested along with him. They will worry about the physical affects of pot on the lungs-- this is a valid concern. Perhaps you could talk them into getting a vaporizor? It would be better for THEIR health too and would help insure that you would more likely smoke only at home. I would say, break the news after you bring home a good report card. Show them that it is not going to affect your schooling. Approach them with a level-headed attitude; you have to be able to convince them you are mature enough to handle the situation. Incidentally, I went to college in my mid50s, did most of my assignments stoned and graduated with honors! It can be done and I think you can do it, too! Good luck!

At this point you will want to make sure you can kill them both at the same time without one waking up while you are trying to kill the other one. Once you kill them both you will want to chop them up into 8 pieces each. You will want to dump their heads in two different lakes or streams. You will want to eat their livers for internal peace. Please keep at least one femur in order to construct a pipe. Also, you will want to save their lungs and kidneys as these organs have tremendous value on the black market but deduct 11% if they are actually black. Haha, when their plants are ready to be harvested, rob a tiny bit of bud from each of the long buds/can't remember the name of them. lol. haha im in a pretty simalar situation. im 13 going onto 14 in 2 weeks or so. my parents found my pipe(i left it in their room when i was stoned looking for a lighter) and said dont smoke for 2 years so i thought they smoke so i should be able to some times so i smoke once in a blue moon.

and about telling your parents make sure you do this:
- grades up

- dont spend all of you money on it especilly if you are getting you money form them, because if the're against it, there gonna cut you off(my parents stopped giving lunch money cos they "have no money" i wouldent be suprised if they hid the cough medicine)

- Say you smoke out of you own free will and you wernt pressured or they will stop you from seeing your friends.

- DONT STONE ON SCHOOL DAYS they will not like this at all

- and be honest as possable remember theres the truth and the "truth"

- leave a smell in you room if you cant get the courage and wait for them to talk

in my opinion, and really you should come up with your own, i think you might want to wait until youre like 17 or 18. totin that young will probably have some negative effects on you, whether it be physical or emotional, whatev. on the other hand, if you can't feel good without totin at 13, you may have some other issues you need to work out...
