!! NEED ADVICE ABOUT PARENTS !!

Well this is another one of those threads.. Im 13 turning 14 in may and i want to tell my parents. Heres the story, they grow it and been smoking it for their whole life. Me and my mum talk about it all the time but she is very much against poeple around my age group smoking pot (even though she does). I get good grades and all and it hasnt changed me at all. Ive only been smoking it for 2 - 3 months but i plan on doing it every weekend and some weekdays. What should i do? Should i wait till' i turn 14 or just tell her sometime when shes in a good mood. I've been caught drinking before and one when I was 11, I smoked some hell old leaves from the growroom in scetching paper:rasta: and she caught me, was totally pointless. So please tell me what i should do????

Its your chioce to smoke or not. And since your parens toke up too they arent exactly being fair. Its hypocritical. Not a very good characteristic.

BUT

If you do be mature about it and ask them how they would like you to control your smokign and what rules they would like to lay down. that way u cant lose.

You're only 13 almost 14 man. Enjoy your childhood before you get heavy into smoking. I mean no offense, but you should reconsider until you're atleast 16 or so. If you think that you're mature enough (because I know maturity blossoms at different ages for everyone) then proceed with caution smoking around your parents. This could be the only possible problem I can envision them having about you enjoying the same thing they do.

If you want to go about telling them that you plan on smoking anyway, then look at it like this: They are either cool with it and possibly set some limitations on your use. Or you get in trouble and they keep an eye on you or something. Getting in trouble eventually will pass. You have a 50/50 chance of getting things how you want them. Your odds wont get much better than that in my opinion.

First, I agree with robert42 - Chill! Serrously!

Second, if you want to tell them, lay it all out. Explain that you've been smoking for a few months and show them that it has had no negative effects on your schoolwork. Perhaps an agreement that if your marks start slipping you would stop smoking would be a good gesture.

Ask your mom to explain to you exactly why she thinks it's a bad idea for someone your age to be smoking. If you understand the reasons behind her take on things, you'll be in a better position to soothe her worries and possibly make agreements that will keep your parents happy and you tokin'.

thanks lizzie, thats a great answer that just what i think i will say but i think im gonna wait a couple of months till im 14 so it doesnt seem and young :P

Man, his parents are stoners, they grow and everything, I don't think he'll be in trouble for too long! lol.

I'd say keep toking, but do it as secretly as you can, then if one day you get caught, then do what lizzie told you to
