I just bought a Creative Audigy 4 Pro Soundcard and LTB 5.1 Headphones. My headphone jack on the external box won't work, I cannot hear the rear left, even though I can hear the rear right, and the most troublesome is I have noise on every channel: I get the most noise out of the front channels, I get noise even when everything is mute, It picks up my mouse scroll and movement as noise, and the only times it stops are when I'm either changing settings for my audio or when my pc is loading something, like a web page. Please help.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The interference with the mouse is strange but I have experienced it myself although only with older machines. How old is the mainboard? How old is the soundcard? Is it indeed a separate card? Do you have an onboard sound controller too? Is it disabled in the BIOS, if not do it. How loud is the noise if you use speakers or normal headphones? Latest firmware/drivers? Are you using a surge protector on everything, if not try with/without.
These are just things I would check and question if I were in your shoes. Of course you can also get another card but depending on what the warranty is like that may not be practical/possible.

I just bought a new k8 nf4-dagf dfi mobo and this card is days old (for me. The cards came out last year). I will check the bios though.

It didn't fix anything to disable the onboard audio but I did notive that the feedback didn't start until XP was completely loaded.
