salvia and bud

I dont know if there is a certain way to smoke salvia, but someone told me that you are supposed to use a bowl, keep a light flame on the salvia, and inhale slowly, then keep it in for as long as you can.... i tried it and it worked pretty well. Does anyone know about this?
Does adding salvia to a bowlpack work like adding opium meaning that it burns properly or do the varying combustion ratios mess up the uptake of the drug into the body? I would rather just smoke some salvia from a pipe then wash the taste down with a nice clean bong rip of good ol' cannabis.:thumbsup:

mix the pot WITH the salvia, and you'll get the salvia more effectively. It's all good.

a little good KB and cover the rest of the bowl with some high grade salvia then get the torch lighter and light that shit up and take as big of a hit as possible then hold it in as long as you can i always try for 50 to 60 sec, the salvia takes a while to get into the system, you should be in for a nice trip have fun i love this shit haha
