Beautifull plants. Did you ever top them? How close together are they? Did you start from seed? My plant are doing well and thank goodness they are not as tall as yours but I would like to know how to grow a plant that size. What do you feed them. Here are my pics. one just starting to bud.

thanks, that was last years crop. i used worm castings, live giant live worms, schultz 20-20-20, advanced nutes. b-52 and one step bloom. grown from seed, topped twice, and pretty close togather. they were big ones huh  ? yours are looking pretty good yourself. here are some more pics from this year. not as big but i am much less paronoied ;)

the purpose of topping has never been explored by me as an indoor grower, new to the outdoor scene.

i presume half the reason is to remove what may be visible to hostile entities?
is the other half to remove mature buds and to allow light on to less mature pistils below?

even indoor topping can be a usefull tool. both of what you said is true but their are so many benifits of topping & training the branches. number one is bigger yields. this goes for indoor as well.
