Dumbest Thing You Ever Did Growing !!!!!

The stupidest thing I have ever done when growing was last summer, when I had a nice size plant out on the patio. I had been to my local friendly hydro dealer, and he gave me a small bottle of some type of liquid for foliar spraying.
Well, I go home, and later that day, I figure I'll just use that foliar stuff, so I pour it in a spray bottle and give my plant a good dousing and go on about other things I was doing. I came back about 30 minutes later and my plant had totally shriveled up; man, it was gone !!
Anyway, upon reading the instructions on the bottle of foliar spray, I found that I was supposed to have mixed 1 part of the liquid with 10 parts water !!
Anyway, 'probably about the dumbest growing experience I ever had :)!!!!

Dumbest thing I ever did was leave the plant in a medium sized pot to flower. It was so rootbound that when I cut the plants down and took them outside to get the soil out, the soil would NOT shake out of place. I had to start dancing on them to get it loose.

I agree. It seems like whenever I'm spacing off at work I'm always dreaming about some 'super grow' with every strain known. LOL Or else I'm wondering how my plants are doing. Smoking pot isn't addictive but growing it sure is. LOL

I dropped the same plant twice in one week. Later I dropped a fan on it.

It lived and later got smoked. :)

I used dirt from my backyard to grow my first Northern Lights...
The soil had so much clay in it that there was no drainage.
It died at about 2 feet tall because of the lock up of everything in the soil chem. ferts,pestiside.

Dumbest thing I ever did, was my first oputdorr grow. My Afghan x Jack Herer was flowering beautifly outdorrs one year and I waaaaay over did it on fert. About once every 4 days, I went out there with a 2L bottle of fert and water, and fed it. I did this about 6 times :p I came back after about a week, and the whole plant was burned. Buds, everything! The entire 4ft was burnt to a crisp. I just sat beside it, and laughed out of sadness. That year I started with 4 plants, had 1 good one, and I fuck it up. All that work, gone...man, what a bummer.

That's how I cry. I laugh :D

I have now learned not to get attached to them because eventually they will have to be cut, but it is always better when you're burning her from fire, instead of food.

thru the summer i had saved just 2 perfect seeds from the most killer smoke i ever hit vowing that id plant these in december and use them as mothers for a whole new experience. trying to bide time until Mr A. Hole taxman broke down with my OWN bread i had no choice but to buy an incandecent light.damn thing was hot as shit and in just 10 minutes while i was on the phnoe i burned em. *sniffle...im still kickin myself over that.
