Chances are that its gone. Sorry for the loss bro. Train your dog to not attack the plants. You can prolly do this by using a fake plant and everytime the dog trys to eat the plant you hit it. It won't touch your plants after that.

are there any leaves or branches left?

in the future if it is not fully broken...even if there is just a few strand holding a branch on.. you can tape it back together.. it will usually make a comeback.. there will be a knot where it broke..
