I have a question...

Has anyone ever grew Kiwi? I wanted to know if its a good plant to grow and if it is wourth the time. I was told it gets Tall but it has alow yeild. :confused:

I grew it when I first got my HID light.
I got the seeds straight out of a kiwi that I ate. I wasn't expecting them to grow but they did. It took a while for them to sprout though, about 3 weeks.
Once they get going they grow pretty fast, mine got too big for my growroom so I put it outside. I live in the UK so I diidn't think it would survive but it grew fine. When winter came all the leaves fell off and I thought it was dead, but the next spring I noticed little shoots on it; it had grown back.
I didn't get any fruit off it though because I heard they have to be so many years old before they can bare fruit. They grow kind of like a vine, the leaves are very dark green on top with a bright red underside. They feel wierd, kinda rough like sandpaper.
