Dont use joints. They smell your hair up, your coat, shirt everything even your breath. they leave mad ashes everywhere and its hard to controll the smoke.

Get a pipe. one with a cover and a little hole so you can cover it when you take your hit.

i wish someone would have told me this when i was a noob.

and also, blow the smoke in a large pillow, 0 smell. ZERO. or if you have a window, blow it out there, into the wind so you dont put it all into your house.

once, i was trying to smoke a joint out a window and the air was blowing in. BAD.

dont use spray, once or twice maybe, anymore then that they will wonder whats going on with you and the spray.

chew breath gum, cough candy or a mint after. also use eye drops 10 or 15 miniutes after you start smoking. You're eyes dont actually go red for a wile so dont rush into putting them in.

Wow thank you for bringing up such a brilliant thread.Stealth smoking is an art that can be perfected. I disagree on the joints part though. If used properly a joint will not stink everything up. You can roll up a small personal joint that will burn very cleanly and not leave a lot of smoke everywhere. Also trying to smoke outside as much as possible is best.

that is true but new smokers usually cant roll the joints you speak of and you still have less control then a pipe. But to each his own.

lol.. i agree except the pillow part. It will build up and start to massively stink up your house or room or whatever. What you do is, you get a bunch of dryer sheets (those things in ur laundry room that are like little paper towel things that smell fresh) and put them inside a tube, and blow your smoke through that. It will smell lemony fresh. Just dont use it too much cuz theres still a tiny bit of smell that is noticable and it can build up.

Also, i used to take off my jacket to smoke joints and then put them back on after I am done. It actually works better if you smoke with the jacket on, get the smoke on that, and then take it off before you go in your house. If you take it off first, your skin or undershirt will smell and the jacket wont cover it up.

heres my method, - know that ive smoked hundreds of times in my room where im very careful

i light an incense just to be safe, but this method also works if you dont have an incense

i use a pipe, just so i can control all of the smoke

i take my hit, and right when im done i put my hand tightly over the bowl so no smoke escapes, i make sure theres no more smoke in the pipe and then ill blow it all into a pillow - ive used the same pillow for like a year. - no smell at all,..

i also use eyedrops right before i start smoking, that way, if my mom comes down, i wont have like to rush and hide everything then use eyedrops, which make your eyes like real watery and still red for a few minutes after applying.

also, another safe tip is to take the hit under a blanket or something, that way if any smoke escapes you, the blanket will help to filter it.

only thing with the blanket is that you gota make sure you dont set it on fire lol. i have a duvet (full of feathers) and that would be fucking bad lol.

its good but man do i hate blowing the smoke in a pillow, u just have to exhale so much more harder :(

and yeah, i have been using mine for about 2 weeks and still no smell.

instead of walkin round the house with a J, stinkin the whole place out. then goin crazy with the spray... i could use my pillow case! i dont mind sleeping to a weed scented pillow! sweeet dreams

I don't have the luxury of smoking at home. My dad smokes and doesn't like me to...so he'd deffinately know what it smells like. But nothen beats going for a walk with the dog and hitting the bowl. lol

Stealth smoking is the reason I love smoking. When my parents go to bed I literally do surgery on the front door and I get it open so silently, it's beautiful. I hide my shit in a (homade) latex sealed (internally) computer game box which doesnt smell. I have many different ways of smoking and I love all of them.

I've always said that half the fun of smoking is getting away with it, and I'm sure some of you can agree with that

i dont realy stealth smoke but i do have to be carefull sumtimes cuz my flatmates bird doesnt like it and doesnt no we smoke up. all i do is open the windows fully, towel against the bottom of the door and a lil bit of spray. oh and by the way that eyedrop shit jus makes the red come back 10 times more worse then before, its chemical shit.

actually, it depends on the type of rolling paper you're using for joints. if you visit a local head shop, you can usually find an organic type pack of papers that don't ash for the most part.

yeah I have grown tired of stealth smoking over the years, and now I really dont even think about, well, trying to hide it most of the time. I get in my car, smoke a hitter, and Im on my way. Soon enough I'll be out of the house and living a stealth-free life.

or , depending on where your room is at, just light up some insence and toke away. just blow it all straight into the insence and you should be good. i smoke bongs in my room in the basement and no one is the wiser.

i dont have to be too shady with my parents. They let me do it as long as i dont rub their faces in it, eg sparking up in front of them, leaving big bags of weed lying about in my room.

I have a diesel furnace, where the exhaust goes there is a pipe with a circular flap. All I have to do is weigh the flap down with a bolt or screw driver, smoke next to the flap and all the smoke is sucked up and out.

Tip for smoking out a window, it is best to open both top and bottom so as to allow circulation. Usually you'll want to blow the smoke out the top since heat rises but it may depend on the room temperature and outside.

Stealth smoking was always more fun then just smoking and getting that ugly look from my mom. The whole 'I know.. but I'm not going to say it out loud so that you can feel this parental shame I have the capability of casting upon you' look. Anyone with bratty parents knows what I'm talking about.

I live on my own now, so I just put a towel under my door and smoke away. When its not too cold I open my window. I don't need my building knowing there is a pothead on the third floor.

ok well guys the past lot of times ive done it..lol i would put my fan pointing out my window, towel under the door, and febreeze by my side....then when i woudl hit the bowl..i woudl keep it in front of the fan, blow out the window, and reapeat till i was done..and then after i put my shit up i would spray 2 squirts of febreeze into my ceiling fan while it was on high so what it would ciruculate it around the room, ..and it would usually keep it pretty much non smelly..but now ..im tired of that ...1 i dont like having to keep my fan infront of my window lol if my mom would walk in thatd be kinda weird and 2 well it sometimes still leaves a smell...so if i would use a doob tube...honestly....how good do they work? and what brand of dryer sheets are the best and exactly how do i make one lol tahnks guys

i agree that stealth smoking is fun. i usually just sneak out of my house after everyone's in bed and spark a bowl in my backyard. whoever said that getting away with it is 1/2 the fun was right. :D

i've known about the dryer sheet (blow tube) method for awhile, but i never thought to use it in my room at home. maybe i'll have to check that out...

There's no point in putting a towel under your door, just blow it away from the top of the door because smoke rises to the ceiling anyways. also if you have lysol or one of those sprays that you press and it sprays right up, then you are soooooooooo set
