Hi friends i love reggae a lot but i only listen to the greatest one, the god, yea im of course talking about bob marley. I know few others band, like peter tosh, tikal jahfakoli but not much more

Id like to discover some good non-commercial reggae (so no sean paul plz lol)

anyway if u know good reggae tell me!

Buju Banton is badazz too but hes slightly commercial n also dancehall

Confrontation on the jamrock cd is mindblowing the arrangement of those lyrics is something to behold, This Marley will truly step out of his fathers shadows, and be counted as a great artist and lyrisicist (spelling)

feelin tha same way rastagal, babies is the one that had me reminiscing. the whole album is superb. sort of an infusion of rasta n rap, respectively speaking. entirely badazz. i cant believe i left out the artists you mentioned, especially barrington levy. was just fixated on Black Uhuru's 'Sinsemilla'.

Bumba Clat, is he the sort of hardcore? Funny how the gritty reggae reminds me of nothern mexican drug lord odes, lyric wise i mean.

Ive built up a decent enough collection, I usually trawl record store wherever I travel be it the carribean or camden :)

Ive rasta friends in the carribean the send me cds they keep me posted :)

its very hard to find a reggae cd you wont like:) i always pick up ones Ive never heard of, they often become my favorites

thats a good connect there. closest as that i've come to was some girl in NC sending me linx to dl sites, lmao. havent heard really anything new except for that Damian Marley, I usually get the old 70's reggae, anything from then.

Check out Matisyahu. He is this Jewish guy and hes pretty damn good at reggae. A lot of stuff about zion. He has a nice sound to him.
