Light Tube

I didn't know if this was the right place to post this, but it looks to be close enough.
Does anyone know where you can get Pyrex tubes that are about 6" in diameter, and 2'-8' long ? I saw one at a shop near here [well, 40mi away], and
forgot to ask the guy where he got it, but it would be great to get ahold of a tube like this, and make your own "grow light tube"; I've seen a very few on the 'net, but nothing like what I'm really looking for. 'Seems this would be a high demand item.

theres a baking tube you can get its designed for bread, was about to say i have no idea where i saw it then i just remembered ( caked, no pun! ) its perfect for a light with a little modification, hope this helps

yeah I was looking for the same thing but thats only good for an HPS bulb. I was really needed one as well for the MH bulb. I was looking for candle covers but didnt know where to look

You can find them on eBay they are called Bake-A-Round by pryex.

Will the bake around work for AN MH???????????No you need 6" to 8" for MH. Bake-A-round's work for HPS only because they are only 4" round glass. You can fit a 1000w HPS light in them with no problem.

These are Bake-A-Round glass cool tubes. If you look around you can find 6" or even the 8" versions for about 150 bucks on line.
