Construct a bubler (photo included)

Ingredients:

1 empty medicine bottle (the orange clear ones are cool)
1 metal spoon
A drill preferably, a knife will do
tape
a bowl (you can get a brass plumbing fixture from the hardware store)
thin tubing (from the hardware store preferable, straws will do)
glue helps
a screen

Simply make a hole in the top of the cap and insert bowl. Glue into place and add tubing so that it nearly touches the bottom when screwed on.

Make a hole on top for the carb.

Tape the spoon to the bottom. This is the handle.

Make a hole near the top and insert tubing so that it runs along the spoon handle, then tape into place.

Insert a screen in your bowl and fill bottle partially with water.

Enjoy.

thats sweet,what i did was i took a bottel and tube, cut a whole on the bottum of the tube for the bottel and then on the top i ran a hose to the bottum and put a bowl on the end of the hose. and its a slide style bubler. but im gonna do your thhing right now.

i made one, it doesnt work that well cuz theres three holes where air can get in other than through the bowl, one is between teh bowl and the cap, inbetween the pen and the hole in the side, and anotherone between the cap and the tube thing. so basically it didnt work unless i wanted to spend the time to make it airtight which i didnt. so yea, cool idea and it looks sweet but didnt work well for me.

Try using a hot glue-gun, super glue, or silicone (out of a tube) to make it airtight.

yeah that is nifty but, its plastic, youre using glue and tape, and those are not the best materials by far to make something from which you will be smoking out of and taking into your lungs. If you really want to do something like that which would be better, try using a glass 32 oz. beer bottle (i like the Sol beer bottles myself) and work that into your contraption. Try to minimize if not eliminate the use of tape or glue anywhere the smoke would come into contact with them.

wow, i've made bubblers exactly like that, except i dont use glue to hold in the bowl. i normally cut the hole a little small and shove the bowl through it
