My theory on dumb pot smokers....

So here it goes...Why some people pretty intellectual social or whatever good are becoming so "dumb" like anti-pot dudes claims to become?? Ain't that because of the illegal situation of Pot??? Now before you reply read the rest!

what i mean is putting something legal or illegal automatically creates a new culture or class...So if it's illegal of course people in this class will be put aside by the rest of society, as they do not want to be associated with illegal activities...Than what happens is, those illegal dudes are somehow frustrated (i write big words, general words, remember) being put a side for something they believe in, even if it's bad or not, and blindingly being stamped in a class apart...

In the case of pot, people who smoke it are less motivated and stay at home...why? well they will be judjed and that is something the majority of humans do not like so they stay at home in a certain psychological comfort...

So illegal dudes will eventually fuck up with education as they are somehow against the system that teaches them but diminish them at the same time...i think this is a normal behaviour. tehy will put their social circle a side if people do not share or unserstand this illegal friend...That is also normal!

So why are they dumb, their moral suffers from the opression put on them...

So as a counter example, i have always been free in my familly and my surounding, free of pressure...I am a really heavy smoker, but everyone, almost, i know are!!! So i have always been against the "system" but knew what was going on...So i am not a "dumb anti-social drooling" pot smoker as most people call us... and i am not alone!

Please tell me your ideas about it...as i want to know what is happening there!!! :dance:

there's dumb people from all sides, man. ones who engage in illegal activities and the one's who dont. retaining and recalling what you learn is a problem with a lot of people. people with attention deficits succumb to stupidity if they do not receieve the proper medication - even people without attention deficit disorders take the medication to improve their recalling of information. i think everyone has attention deficit disorders to some degree. anyone can be intellectual with some effort and will power.

Me and my girlfriend are always smoking lots of pot but we're always going on road trips, rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, etc. Of course I am unemployed at the moment, but I'm not as much of a pot smoker as I was when I had a job (cuz I have no money) so go figure.

The Stigma of Marijuana was abruptly removed around the time of Reagan's second Term. That means it's ingrained in those who graduated High School before 1985 that Pot is Bad and Illegal. A majority chose the Illegal way. Some see the power Pot has.

After the mid-80's, it became socially acceptable (once again) to the point where the majority chose the "Pot is Safe" FACT.

I think everyone here generally has the right point of view. "Some people are just stupid no matter what drugs they have or haven't taken." I see the whole spectrum in my own small circle of friends, some are a bit dim and fall into the cliche "pothead" catagory, some are right in the middle and some are quite brilliant despite a lack of classical education. I consider myself to be of at least above average inteligence and even though I smoke pretty much every day, I still find myself drawn to itelectual persuits, often more so while stoned.
If someone is smart and motivated to learn then a little weed now and again isn't going to make any real difference.

Whatever they were saying about pot destroying family life or something, to tell you the truth I can't remember.

I can't recall my feelings, but I know what you mean, some people won't put themselves in a certain category, like "potsmoker", because it's illegal.

As for the moronic premise, it must have been something I was mentally relating to, so no one would know about it because it was all in my head.
