I went out to my site today and found a good branch broken off of one of my plants. I brought it back to my house all pissed off. Then i thought maybe i could get some clones out of it got a buddy doing some indoor growing. The plant obviously is already drooped. And the break seems to have happened very recently with this windy wet wheather. I took some cuttings with a sharp knife and put them into a good size ziploc freezer bag which i then filled the bottom with water. Should i put these in the frig to keep them cool until i can get to the store tomorrow to buy some rockwool, hormone and domes. Or becuase the plant was broken off in such a way it is not worth trying to clone? Any feedback would be great i have never cloned before.

Well i decided to go ahead and try it. I went to the hardware store this morning and got some hormone. I couldn't find a place with rockwool so i am just useing some nice potting mix i have made up. I took the cuttings out of the ziploc brushed some water off them and imediatily put them into the hormone powder then placeing them in the holes i pre-maid in my soil. I found a container to hold them in and put clear plastic over the top to hold in the humidity. I also left a side untapped so I can mist them. Got them warming in my shower room at 80F is this to hot?

I tried to clone one of my females. I didnt use hormone or rockwool. I just cliped a nice one and stuck in a glass of water 2 weeks ago, I change the water every 2-3 days and NOW I have roots growing , when they are a nice clump of roots I will transplant into soil. Read how to do it on Overgrow.com
