A good vaporizer tends to get you more high more quickly because you're hitting THC without most of the smoke. Therefore you can take very large hits without coughing and don't experience any fuzzy-headedness that can come from smoking weed high in cannabinoids. Vaporizers are thought to be healthier but I think the only one for which this has been proven is the Volcano.

Why would you think that? All vaporizers are the healthiest option of smoking cannabis. You get higher because like, Shai said you're only inhaling pure thc vapour without the carcinagenics.

I read something about this a while back. I don't remember if it was a fact or just a theory but they did give a reason why vaping gets you so high with less weed than smoking. You need to heat the weed in order to extract the THC. The actual range of temperature that is best is pretty narrow. When you smoke, the temps are much higher than when you vaporize, and a good portion of the THC simply gets burned up and destroyed long before it enters your lungs.
The reason a vap is so much healthier is that there isn't any smoke. Smoke contains all kinds of nasty compounds in addition to THC that aren't healthy.

i've got a vaporizer. It gets me very high quickly. One additional reason is that even more so than a bong it is a huge rush of THC to the system.
oh and about the whole coughing thing Shai: I cough much more easily off a vaporizer than smoking. My vap bong is very intense on the lungs, and people easily throw up or have huge coughing fits off trying to hit it like a bong. Vaporizers really irritate the throat a lot in my experience using them. I have used the Voodoo and the Got Vape vap gun/ bong kit. the latter one defeats the prior by a lot, and the price is like 50-60 more.

ya but the volcano vaporiser that shai uses, it is a lot of clean smoke. The thing costs like 500 dollars, alot more than the others.

whoah shit hes got the volcano. Oh man I'm a little jealous. I was not aware that the volcano was smoother.
the vap kit I got really can take a toll on the lungs after a big bowl. I'll be smoking a bowl with no one else helping me out and it can be so heavy on the lungs my eyes will be rolling back. damn I gotta try the volcano sometime.
