Smoking out of a bong doesn't make the weed weaker. Even if you were to loose some of the thc in the water, the ammount that would be lost would be impossible to detect in the high.

Bongs, in my opinion, strengthen the high a great deal. They're said to make the high shorter, but in my experience, this isn't true.

Bongs do take out some THC, more then ppl relise, but they aso take out a lot of the harmful toxins. The reason you get higher with a bong is that the smoke is cooler and has less nasty chemicals in it so you can inhail more!

thc isnt really water soluble so if your losing any its not really that much
bongs filter the weed so you dont get as much of the bad chemicals
bongs are a cleaner hit for me and i can take in more then if i smoke a bowl - so to me hit by hit a bong gets me higher

let me just say that from personal expirence bongs get me higher, give bigger hits, are more intense, are more psycadellic, last longer and are funner than pipes.

While bongs actually have a higher tar-to-THC ratio in the hits, they filter out some of the nasty gases, and the cooler smoke allows you to take bigger hits.

All in all, they get me higher, and make smoking a more pleasurable experience.

Finally, the best things about bongs is that you never get a mouthful of ash after snapping the bowl. There's nothing worse than taking huge hits of tasty chron, only to be eating carbon the next second.

There are a lot of misconceptions in the stoner world and most smokers in fact don't know shit except the rumors they hear from their stoner friends who also don't know shit. One of these rumors is that using bongs is healthier because it filters out the tars. It does filter out some tars, but it filters out MORE THC, meaning you have to smoke more to get the same amount of high, which translates to higher tar intake than even an unfiltered joint.

Bongs.. resin.. both great in my opinion. I think it's fascinating how it seems that every method of smoke consumption seems to bring on a varying intensity of high. Joints seem to be considered a mellower, social high, pipes are the same, and bongs slap your face in, seeming to be the strongest. One-hitters are often considered great for conserving weed. Is it because of the amount of smoke escaping the bowl? The amount taken in per lungfull? All of the above?

Water is not THC soluble so the microscopic amount it may absorb will not make it weaker. That's just how i see it, If i smoked a bong to a face compared to a bowl i know which one would get me higher! I've read that study, i'd like to see more than just 1 though.

Bongs are made to deliver your weed as quickly and efficiently as is possible. Unless you find a way to intravenously inject weed then bongs are the most effectlve way of smoking (vapes not included) Maybe you just dont know how to hit a bong or maybe you just have shitty weed :p

exactly.... thc isn't the only thing that gets you high. they make your thc pills(marinol i think) but the high just isn't the same because there are many chemicals in weed that get you high. thc is a cannibinoid. there are over 300 cannibinoids in marijuana smoke(i believe)
